Really enjoyed the ultimate wine tasting and tour yesterday. William and Ian were fabulous hosts. Great pace to the whole experience. Thoroughly recommend.

Nice place for breakfast, UNLESS YOU VEGAN OR A CHILD!Zero child options, and no food options if you don't eat egg and then I get told by the waitress, but it's breakfast, of course it comes with egg ? More infuriating was going downstairs afterwards and seeing pastries etc in the cafe and no offer to bring me one so that I could at least eat something!

Incredible location for food, cafe & wine tasting. Can get busy so book in advance. Free parking. Walking tours available. Dogs allowed in outside cafe seating. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff.

A disappointing visit to a beautiful setting. The restaurant food is really not up to standard. I had the whole plaice which was dripping in oil and butter which made the fish mushy and not pleasant to eat.The setting is lovely but I just think they should stick to providing basic food and let the wine do the talking.

Absolutely stunning location.Amazing attentive staff, a regular, go to vouchers for relatives and friends over the Christmas period what better present could you think of giving

Went there for Sunday lunch and also wine touring/tasting! All the staff are great however the prices are ridiculous. You'll pay more for their own wine here than in the supermarkets. Not happy with this. If you're a fan of getting fleeced then make sure you pay this place a visit

We were there for Sunday lunch. The quality of the food was excellent. Roasted Jerusalem artichokes and cauliflower soup starters, roast beef, roast pork belly and fish and chips for mains, chocolate mousse, white peach parfait and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and the Sussex cheese platter. All delicious and spot on for price and quality (though some bigger bits of cheese would have been nice). If one small niggle, roast potatoes could have been crispier. We had a bottle of blanc de blanc (yum) and a 4 glass taster flight, but also a couple of tasters of other wines courtesy of the wonderful staff. All in all a wonderful afternoon out in the beautiful Sussex countryside and early autumn sunshine. Will definitely go again.

As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the UK, as a big wine fan wherever I go, I thought I would try UKs finest. 3rd stop of the day was here, and what a view had a nice Rose to go along some amazing Calamari, with a great light batter was so delicious ?

My husband and our friend had the wine and Sussex Cheese tasting experience which they thoroughly enjoyed. I stayed with my friends in the cafe where we had fruit scones with cream and jam and tea. The scones come in portions of two and they are huge. There's also a shopping area where you can buy their wines as well as cheese, nibbles, blankets, soaps and chocolate.Open every day but the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday so only light bites and cake available.Would definitely return.
