Finally we had some lunch here. I had the cod and chips. The cod was very nice and tasty, batter was light and crispy but not oily. The mushy peas were done to perfection and the tartare sauce was complimenting the food very nice. The staff is always friendly and the vibe in the restaurant was lovely! Thank you to everyone that put an effort to make is feel welcomed and to the chef that made the food ? !

We had a family dinner here for 15 and everything about it was excellent. The food was served promptly and was perfect, it was a fun and very relaxed evening. The singer was a surprise but he was amazing and made the evening even more special..

Not a good evening at all. Most of our first choices for starters & mains were unavailable, didn't even have mixed nuts, now come on you could send somebody to waitrose!!! Staff just made excuses not 1 apology. When food eventually arrived mussela were in coloured water & the carbanara had no sauce. Won't be going there again

This venue was basses near our house in hove and was a highlight to our casual dining. Very stupid B&H city council made the parent feel unwelcome and we lost Thai restaurants locally. We drive to it’s town now instead.

Don’t go here !!! Awful service half the menu not available and when the food did arrive it was inedible! Even when a replacement meal arrived it was just as bad! The servers just didn’t care and nor did the management they were very rude! Don’t go there to eat!

Had lovely evening there last night. Only wanted drinks but they were more than happy to accommodate. The service was lovely and there was live music which was amazing. A great night and highly recommend

Oh dear. What has happened? This used to be a great restaurant with great food. The menu has become very bland. The specials list has disappeared. No atmosphere. We stayed for one drink and left I am afraid.

I had a wonderful time here with my friends, until I found out from my sister, who’s friend worked here, that men and women are paid UNEQUALLY FOR EQUAL LABOUR. Last time I checked this was 2023, not 1964. Do better, or lose custom.

Oh dear, this place has gone down hill. Used to be great. However, this time the new menu was bland and there were no specials. It was loud. The windows were all open and people were smoking outside, so the smoke drifted in. Seems more of a bar now than a restaurant. We had a drink and then left. Didn’t stay to eat.

Wonderful food and service, the food was so tasty I didn't want to stop?. We ordered oysters too and they were so lovely and fresh! The staff were very friendly and attentive. If your in the area it's definitely worth a visit ?Kid-friendliness: I went it with my 10 month old and the highchair was clean and the staff were very sweet to him. They paid attention to him every time they came to the table

Went to get a drink as noticed it was quieter than both bars next door, as they serve Peroni also, there was no customers in there and waited patiently to be served but the barman was too interested in his phone to notice me, so walked out and went elsewhere, explains why no business.

Popped in on the off chance they were playing the football - had already been out for dinner somewhere else locally and fancied a night cap and maybe a few light late evening snacks. Pascal's did not disappoint! Friendly and prompt service at the bar offering us a range of bar snacks and well made drinks. Didn't have a full meal but the atmosphere was relaxed and comfy so will definitely return

Having been to Pascals previously and had a dreadful meal about 12 months ago I decided to give it another go for dinner. Unfortunately it failed to change my mind and prove that it was a one off bad experience.Once seated we asked our waitress what one of the specials on the board was, the seafood panache, to which she didn’t know and thought it was a fish pie..it wasn’t!The food was bland and unseasoned (we had the mussels and king prawns to start and then had the sea bream and sea bass for main) which was then poorly presented with the so called salad looking sad and a bit brown at the edges. We were offered no bread with the mussels and so a lot of the broth was left in the bowl.We ordered the Malbec which was already opened before it was brought to the table which I have never experienced before anywhere else and did leave me wondering what we were actually drinking!!Once eating we were then serenaded by the holiday camp entertainment..which was ok but not quite right for an evening meal IMHO.However, the positives - the manager was polite and courteous when we entered the restaurant and they were efficient when taking our money for the bill. It’s a real shame that this restaurant hasn’t quite hit the mark…it could be an absolute little cracker with just a few small tweaks…I’ll maybe try again in another 12 months….

A lovely place to have lunch with a great menu. The staff are very friendly but quietly attentive, you won't have to wait for anything but you also won't feel like anyone is hovering around you.

Good choice of food and drinks and steak was particularly good. Service lacked a bit. Did not know what options there were for Gluten Free, had to prompt for how steaks to be cooked. Atmosphere....way to noisy. Impossible to hear conversation on your own table
