Absolutely awful. Don't waste your time. Pre-booked a table however the kitchen was closed when we got there, but we were told to go and sit down. In hindsight we should have left then. 3 starters, 2 came out and the other one followed quite a bit later. 1 nicely cooked, 1 overcooked, 1 undercooked. When the first 2 main meals came out the waitress said they'd come out in 2s, we didn't realise this meant they were only cooking 2 meals at a time. By the time the last 2 came out the first 2 people had finished eating. Worse still the food wasn't even good; the scampi was dreadfully overcooked and the fried fish was swimming in oil. Despite the weather being awful the external door was propped open, making the room terribly cold. We weren't expecting Michelin quality food from a chain pub but this was truly abysmal.

I went in there with a group of people on the 14th December. The services was so slow. I ended up leaving just before 9 pm and people were still waiting for their puddings.

Had a family meal on Sunday (10th december) all 11 of us altogether! . The general feel of the pub was really nice with the addition of the Christmas lights and decorations were also a lovely touch. Service was great really friendly and accommodating.I had the cheese and bacon burger which I thoroughly enjoyed!Everyone had a great time will definitely recommending to friends.

Visited there on a Tuesday evening for a quick pint, turned into a couple more, with the recommendation from Jed I found my new beer flint eye, you have got to try it :) some nice looking items on the food menu will be trying when I get a chance, the Christmas decorations look very good not to over the top, but very posh. Will be back soon
