Landlord was a character. Hope he didn't have to wait too long for his fish and chips

I liked it... The owner is an ex boxer with a great sense of humour... He served us food even though we came after he'd stopped... Had a lovely pork roast dinner...Will definitely be going back next time were passing. Thanks ☺

Just popped in for a sandwich but ended up having a ploughman's . Not a fanxy place but very friendly & homely.Very generous portions, tasty and great price. Saw others having hot meals which looked yummy . Definitely going back to try a home cooked pie.Adding to this as finally managed to get back snd have a Sunday lunch, which was huge and fab...highly recommend..wanted add photo but couldn't see how

We felt so welcome and taken care of! Such a cozy pub in a gorgeous location and lovely surroundings. They have an extensive beer list and it's such a good pit stop if you are in the area!

Legendary old skool Biker pub with great atmosphere, great beer and food and regular live music with on site overnight camping available in the field and woods behind the large carpark by prior arrangement.. Regular beer festivals and biker meets but also a great pub for families everyone who enjoys the nostalgia of an old fashioned English village pub... This pub has hardly changed since I 1st came back in the early 70 's..Amazing..

We arrived hoping to stay over in the motorhome and invite family and friends to dine with us in the pub. Sadly once I stepped inside the pub you could smell dirt and damp. It wasn't clean and I made our excuses and left.

Very old fashioned and difficult to get another pint while he was making another customers dinner. Nice to sit outside in sun though the table we were on had seen better days.

Great little pub. Very friendly landlord with a good sense of humour and trying hard to give good service. Drinks were £4 for any good sized wine or pint of draught craft beer! Exceptional. Hand sanitizer on entry. Covid friendly. Plenty of outdoor tables. What more when one is trying to shield as best as you can against covid. Well done to another small business struggling against the odds!
