This is our first visit since the re furb. Clean tables, friendly service and my wife was pleased with her large cheese and mushroom toastie with a side salad and crisps. It was £6.55 but large enough and tasty enough to justify, very filling. However the cakes were pricey, around £3-£4.50 which I though was expensive along with coffee at between £3 to £4. You can find cheaper places in Horsham and if they took a pound off their cakes and pastries in particular, this could be a winner

Looks much better than before and the positive review ends up here. All the tables were completed packed with piled dirty dishes and cups from previous customers and when asked politely to a member of the staff to clean our table we were greeted with a smirk and very poor attitude. Not impressed with the team, dragging their feet and just watching the dirty plates pilling up higher and higher, completely lost where the ordered food would end up. Order a latte to have in, ending up with the drink on a take away plastic cup. When asked why, one member of the staff was kind enough to let us know that had run out of cups. I wonder why, just looking to the other tables... We got up and left this sh#t hole. I'll stay away from this place as the plague, I´ll spend my money elsewhere.

The refurb is great and the fact that there's more than 1 vegan option but went in today since reopening to have a tea and not sure I would go back. Green tea didn't have much flavour and the pot was only half full, plus waited around 25mins for it. While waiting, I watched the staff and they were all generally slow and at times not doing much even though there were tables piled with dirty plates and people waiting for drinks. I have worked in a cafe like this and this team were allover the place . The most worrying thing was watching multiple staff touch the rim of cups, the person making drinks and then a different person who was bringing them out, who had been moving from the till, to dishwasher to possibly prepping food. On the way out we saw the person who was making the coffee blow his nose and then start touching stuff behind the counter. I'm not a big hygiene freak but it a big issue having so many people touch the rim of your cup especially when their not cleaning their hands

What a pleasant surprise! Friendly staff, tasty cake and tea and very enjoyable new atmosphere. Well done for bringing this place back to life.

Must improved refit having worked her last summer it's so nice now looking and feeling like a coffee shop. Staff seem to still be getting used to the place but from what it was it's much improved ❤️

Took ages to be served, sandwich arrived long before the coffee. Eventually when coffee arrived, like warm. Had it replaced with pleasant attitude but had to go looking for the replacement and my husband had long finished his. The replacement was a little warmer, not good for price paid.

The site has undergone a complete transformation and is unrecognisable. It is now under new management who have clearly spent a fortune on a stunning refurbishment of what was a very tired looking establishment. They have also revamped the food menu which is now all made fresh on site and the staff were really friendly and courteous. Drinks and food are delivered to your table rather than having to stand and wait at the counter. I had a coffee, panini and cake all of which was delicious. If you haven’t been for a while it’s worth taking a fresh look at this landmark coffee shop in the centre of town on the Forum.

It is not as nice as it used to be. They seem to also leave milk out of the fridge!

Very nice cafe, nicely situated. Good outdoor seating. Lovely staff.

Maybe it was the time of day, very little in the way of cake selection, poor gluten free selection, so poor i couldn't find it, maybe new staff, service was SLOW

Like others have said, it's not the same anymore. Had to get our own chairs and tables to sit outside and inside looked like it could do with a spruce up/clean. Windows were very dirty. Food on floor. Not as it was. It was our " Go to" coffee stop in the summer and cosy winter days, but maybe not now. If someone gets their finger out, it could be a little gold mine.

Used to be a nice place to have coffee in town. But recently since it’s been taken over by a different team, unfortunately everything has gone down hill. Not clean, staff are unprofessional working with air pods while serving customers; I work in the coffee industry and would not be doing this AT ALL. Prices have gone up but have nothing to show for it. Always under staffed, always dirty, always closing or closed. Food isn’t great, coffee isn’t great. Shame really.

We have been very disappointed recently. This morning we had to set out our own table and seats, clean the table, and we were not alone!!!!!The service was slow by a scruffy individual who didn't seem interested!Such a shame because it's a lovely spot to have a coffee in the sunshine.Obviously the owners are not interested!!
