I visited here for the first time with my children and was shocked with how we were treated! The lady serving was passive aggressive and made us feel uncomfortable from the outset. We should have just walked straight out but thought we’d see if things improved. Everything was an issue for her. The children were asked to remove their shoes, which seemed like a strange request but we obliged. My 3 year old stood up for a moment and she told me this wasn’t allowed. When ordering food we were told the order we were allowed to order in. I was asked to move my chair in when I barely had any room as it was. When we came to pay we mentioned how we felt and instead of handling the situation professionally, she got more offensive. I’ve never experienced customer service like this and we certainly won’t be back. The food was average but not anything we’d have complained about if it weren’t for the whole experience. Never felt so unwelcome in all my life.

Poor food, poor interiors, poor service.Claim to be the only restaurant in Horsham who make their dough fresh. Obviously never been to Monte Forte (not a chain). If you want great pizza in Horsham go to Monte Forte and if you want delicious pasta go to La Piazzetta which is a lovely independent Italian restaurant the other end of town.We visited this evening with our children and were a little late. Waitress (older lady with brown hair) made a big deal over it and said if we were in London we’d have lost our table. Well, we’re not in London and there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant occupied. Everything was too much trouble. Weren’t prepared to bring out the children’s pizza asap because it was too inconvenient. Wouldn’t let the kids have any toys on the tables for fear of them getting scratched but they were just MDF tables coated in plastic wood effect finish. Told the children not to put their feet on the chairs despite them not once having their feet on the chairs. I’ve since read reviews from other stating the exact same experiences. Became extra rude when we weren’t prepared to pay the service charge. Ceiling was falling down and was in a poor state of repair.I don’t often leave negative reviews which anyone is free to see from my guide history, but this review is fair and accurate of our experience. If you look through all the 1 star reviews the majority of them talk about how rude their waitress was, some with descriptions and that matches our experience. Maybe she should take note of the significant amount of feedback from several customers now.

The manager was rude and unwelcoming when we arrived, things seemed to be an inconvenience, brought a cake for a 21st birthday, was told as part of the policy they wouldn’t bring the cake out unless we looked at desert menus, as they ‘won’t have time to bring the cake out for us’. it felt as though we were being rushed, the manager was very pushy for us to order food straight away ‘as it was going to be very busy in 15 minutes’. The muscles were stone cold, were sent back and seemed to just be reheated, the carbonara was watery which seemed odd as the manager said it wouldn’t have any sauce with it. when it came to paying we asked for the service charge to be removed she made a face to suggest we were expected to pay for a service we weren’t happy with.

Just Fabulous, very caring staff and Lovely food. Very reasonably priced and graceful authentic Italian music not to loud to discourage conversation with loved ones. 11/10 will visit again!

Perfect for couples, the wine was superb and the customer service was some of the most welcoming i’ve had, HIGHLY recommend!

Lovely restaurant location and excellent customer service. The little touches like taking your coat at the door and small tall really make a difference, staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure you had a good time. Food was tasty with Gwen our portion sizes and homemade desserts. Would 100% recommend.

An excellent, family run restaurant in the heart of Horsham. Visited with friends for an informal meal and really enjoyed the pizza and especially the tiramasu! Would highly recommend, service was great.

If I could rate zero stars, trust me, I would. We tried to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt, but she constantly displayed rude and unwelcoming behaviour. She should probable also make sure to use deodorant before shifts. Will not be returning here unless I’m craving a night of depression and poor service.

Restaurant looks a bit run down. Food was average and not worth the calories. Pizza Express is much better.

A bizarre experience, the host does not understand customer service and made us feel incredibly uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. We had three kids and this was clearly an issue as she was weirdly controlling about what they could and couldn't do. There were moments where the host was normal and checked the food was okay etc but the odd comments she had made by the time our food arrived had already ruined the evening (we are very easy going and relaxed people). We also experienced pressure to purchase more food and pay the service charge despite the poor service we experienced, similar to other reviews we've since read.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

Fabulous restaurant! We hadn’t been here for a few years-goodness knows why- a warm greeeting by the lovely lady who served us, had a little chat about it being their anniversary yesterday. Drinks were brought promptly, I had the most divine mozzarella and mushroom garlic bread, my husband had the prawns. Carbonara was gorgeous, made in the traditional way. Our friends girls had pizza, one of them is gluten free and there was a good choice for that. Lovely Irish coffees to finish, oh and the tiramisu-yum! A delightful evening, can’t wait to return. A real gem in a busy market town.
