Only wanted pawn crackers and hoisin dip and took 20 mins to get those 2 items. I saw the reviews wasn’t positive lately but thought surely you can’t get crackers and dip wrong……… the hoisin dip was awful.

I have to say I feel this takeaway has been slowly going downhill for a little while.In the past you were always met with a friendly face ( the English guy or the owner of the all you can eat restaurant across town, sadly closed) always has prawn crackers popped in your bag as a gentle nod to your continued custom.This has slowly disappeared.Answering the phone with what would appear to be in fear of missing an order does not justify priority over customers patiently waiting in the store.Another review highlights this issue.Asked to pay cash all the time.I get the need for this but on busy nights they are struggling financially or it's greed.The prices have also gone up time and time again. I understand this is just how it is with life in general however similar establishments in Horsham have not increased so dramatically. Curry sauce a prime example as well as egg fried rice.The food quality is average at best and a number of factors are likely to influence this. Cost reductions, quality of meat and vegetables as well as when you order it and on which day.It's a sad state of affairs for this long established takeaway.Horsham really needs a good shake up and places like this really need to up their game. For a town where many people call it a desirable place to live the takeaways on offer are pretty poor. Or people's expectations and taste buds are just low.

Usually very good, but this evening my pancake roll was still frozen in places and fried rice cold, overall, disappointing.

If I could leave less than 1 star i would!!What is the point you advertise you open between 12:00 and 22:00 on Fridays when you are NEVER open.I tried ordering from you 3 times before at around 16:00 on a Friday and you were not open!False advertising i say and you should update your opening/closing times for all customers to seePlenty more chinese restaurants to choose from so never using you again

I stood at counter waiting to be served for a few minutes and then the phone rang and the guy rushed out and answered the phone to take an order before asking me. This is so rude and disrespectful so I walked out and you will never have me as a customer ever again for this.

Unfortunately I must say that our family experience at the Panda House has been very disappointing. We were coming back from doing the London to Brighton bike ride to get dinner and was told it would be a half an hour wait which is fine. However we did not receive our food for just shy of 1hr30mins (which would have been perfect for us to go home, shower etc before going back to get it) but after asking multiple times how long it will be, our response was met with a rude remark of our duck taking a long time and it would be ready shortly. Everyone else in the shop seemed to be having a similar negative experience.After finally receive our food with nothing more than a simple sorry and no compensation they put in brown sauce instead of hoisin and the food was quite tasteless and greasy as if rushed because we kept chasing them up. If we had been told it would be over an hour wait in the first place then this wouldn’t have been an issue but we were left waiting with no idea how long it would be. Some people came in after us with similar sized orders yet received their orders much quicker than us. We will not be returning.

We always get our takeaway from Panda House as we like the way they cook their dishes, the chow mein being our favourite one (usually chicken chow mein and beef chow mein). This time for a change we ordered two beef chow mein and one beef and mushrooms chow mein. The lady at the other end of the phone confirmed the order after we placed it, and it was correct (I was next to my husband when he called, so I could hear everything). However, when we opened the trays two of the meals were wrong! We called to let them know and asked what they could do about it, and the same lady who took our order started arguing with us, saying that was what we ordered. My husband calmly told her that wasn’t the case and asked her again what they could do to sort it out. She kept arguing for a while, saying she was right and we were wrong! In the end she only agreed to remake one of the meals we ordered, and we also had to collect it (we asked for it to be delivered, but she said they couldn’t do it). As this wasn’t enough, a few minutes after she put the phone down, she called us and asked to take one of the wrong meals back! This was unbelievable and very bad from them as though they were trying to imply we were after a free meal!!! They definitely lost us as customers, we’ll never order from them again!

Just had our first Chinese from here and completely disappointed with the food it lacked flavour and because it arrived over an hour late it was also cold,, we were recommended this takeaway by a friend as we normally get from golden palace, we personally will never buy from Panda again
Just driven round trip of 7 miles to discover on getting home some of my order is wrong. And it was the item I most wanted and made the journey for. So frustrating and I can have refund if I drive all the way back.

Excellent take away! They always cater to my dietary requirements of Gluten, dairy, egg free! The kung po chicken is especially delicious! They are super friendly and all around a great takeway option in horsham.

So much chilli shoved in their chicken in black bean it was inedible!!! Awful and they put the satay chicken in with the ribs so my Lerner with a nut allergy couldn’t have the ribs!!

Ordered 'vegetable pancake rolls' this evening. Turned out they had prawns in. Don't like prawns but that's beside the point, I could be in hospital now if I had a seafood allergy or even dead. Not impressed.
