Enjoyable and cheap pub food. Took advantage of the offers they had running on but one get one free burgers. Everyone enjoyed their food, even my fussy kids. Could have bigger rather of desserts but the ones on offer were tasty. Went on a might the footie was on so was a bit of an atmosphere, didn't interrupt our meal and they have plenty of screens so you can easily sneak a watch. ??

We went to the Sussex Barn for our daughter’s 16th birthday party A table of 14, they asked for us to pre order due to the size. I have in our pre order with the names next to the order What a great night, they went over the order and changed anything we needed. They separated the meals into couples: families which made it easier when paying The food was great, it came out hot and not long after we all say down, it also came with the server saying the persons name

We booked a table 3 days ago. Had a confirmation and a reminder email to ask if we are still coming. Which was all great. Great start , we have just had a call to say that they can't accommodate us anymore on the day of the visit. We had already made arrangements for others to make their way.What a terrible and incompetent service. When talking to them, they turned round and stated, " What do you want me to say?" This was a confirmed booking, and then they double back on their word. If they were unable to accommodate, they should never have sent the confirmation to us. We are now left without a place to eat with friends and family. We travelled down for the festive period. So it's not often we are down this way and when we are, it's for special occasions.Going forward from my experience, anyone reading this beware and go somewhere that is more trustworthy and family friendly would rather pay more for an inviting and friendly atmosphere where we are welcome. Sadly this company is not and we will be avoiding this place in future.

I booked a table in the dog friendly area as I see by the reviews that’s the only places I can bring my dog.I didn’t have any dog care so I needed to bring the dog on this occasion.I received a confirmation that my booking was complete. I even received a second email to say check that I was still attending.They waited until the day of the booking to call me (days after I had booked it) to tell me that they have no space for my booking.This is really bad behaviour to call and tell us just the day of the booking.We could not find anywhere else at such short notice to book because of this.Guy on the phone didn’t seem to care.Follow up to comment:I did NOT demand an apology but when I did ASK if you could apologise as I did not hear this from you at all only your bad attitude.You had two DAYS to get back to us and you didn’t until the day of the booking so maybe just be more organised?!Your comment and your lies just confirm everything I have mentioned. Looks like other people have had issues with your attitude by the other comments also.Please don’t have the option to book online if you’re not able to figure out how to use it, rather than blame the customer for booking online rather than calling.HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Fantastic Christmas Day Lunch ! Food and service was spot in . We had 2 disabled family members and they were looked after superbly and our specific requests were not overlooked in the Christmas rush. Couldn’t be happier , thank you to everyone At Sussex Barn, see you next year!!!!

This was my 2nd time eating here and I would say this is the best pub I've tried in Horsham. Good food and a lovely atmosphere however there's one thing I didn't like. It was the service,the waitress who served us was always in a rush. It's like we are not yet finished with our food and she kept on getting our plates/trays. I worked in hospitality as well but I make sure that I don't pressure my customers. I forgot her name but she looks Asian.

Nice restaurant at very affordable prices. The food is nothing to write home about but they do massive portions. It's a popular spot for people wanting quick food with no hassle.I had the Chik 'n' Mix platter, it was ok, it started off well but you quickly realised that most of the chicken is cheap and cheerful with no flavour. Some others had the steak and they said it was pretty good quality so maybe that is what to go for.Poor selection of beers however and, although most of the staff were really friendly, we had a bit of a problem trying to get some of it drinks from the manager. Due to an error on their system they tried to refuse to give us our drinks despite us being able to show the money had gone out of our account. Eventually we complained enough to get out drinks though, otherwise it would have been just straight up robbery.If you want quick cheap food this is the place to stop.

Had a pre-Christmas family get together for 30 people yesterday ranging from 1 to 80 years old. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and staff attentive, friendly and went beyond to make our experience a good one.

We made the evening great because of company. Food was good. We pre ordered Xmas menu which was fine. Altho the waiting staff don't know cranberry sauce to bbq sauce which could of been dangerous had one of us tried it because of allergies
Warm lunchtime welcome. Staff very attentive & polite. Great lunch, choosing from their extensive menu. Desserts scrummy too! Food competitively priced. Thanks again! Will be back soon!

Went as a group of 6 for a family get together. Got sat under the TV whilst the football was on, and ended up surrounded by men shouting at the tv for the best part of an hour. Food took forever to come despite the fact the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. One meal came out 15 minutes before everyone else’s, leaving my sister eating alone. 2 of the remaining 5 meals were virtually inedible as they were cold. Sent them back for replacements and the guy that “helped” us was so dismissive and made me feel stupid for saying anything. Replacements took almost 30 minutes so weren’t worth having in the end! Won’t be returning any time soon, very disappointed as we’ve come here lots before!!

Right listen here, dry rub chicken wings, I don't know what they were seasoned with but that stuff was top of the range, AMG mercedes level, however the steak had the texture of a leather sofa, medium rare should not look like a Russian soldiers burnt corpse, if you want a steak medium rare ask for blue and you might have some luck, my backside shall truly test this meal in the morning, great staff though they're alright I guess.Wheelchair accessibility: I've seen a few munters in, they made it in ok

Very impressed with my recent trip, this place is so much better than it was a few years back. Friendly staff, good food, good selection of drinks and a very nice sauvignon blanc too.Good for watching sports but not just a sports bar, so much more to it than that.
