Well kept cellar with good beer selection and plenty of spirits to keep any discerning drinker happy. The food is very good, the selection of burgers is exceptional and Thursday night being steak night it's definitely worth looking in. Although the pub has been modernised over the years it has retained a lot of character and boasts an open fire with cosy atmosphere.

Attended a Birthday party with 6 adults and 6 children. Besides the food being great and very reasonably priced, the lady that served us made all the difference. Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go there again.Kid-friendliness: Good variety of Children's menu with generous proportions.

The old Green Dragon pub I remember from my younger years! Not far from The Carfax. Easy to reach. Big outside garden and a lot of seating inside. GREAT fish and chips and steak and kidney pie!

First time here and enjoyed it. Good selection on menu, very nice staff. Had duck to start and the Sunday roast with beef, carrots, brocoli and red cabbage, lovely gravy. Food was hot and delicious. Decent wine menu too. No room for dessert. Very reasonable price too.Kid-friendliness: Selection for children or smaller dishes that aren't extortionate.

Very disappointed with the food served at this establishment. On arrival had to ask for table to be cleaned again as I was sticking to the wood. Ordered a roast chicken. Chicken was nice to give credit, but potatoes were so hard would have broke a tooth try to eat. Hardly any gravy. Meal was just horrid. Very shocked as I’ve eaten from their burger menu e before without complaint.

Wonderful Sunday lunch was had by eighteen of us. The food was excellent and the meat locally sourced which is a big plus. Considering our large party everything ran smoothly and the staff were lovely. I’ve never had a bad meal at the Olive so going by my own experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I popped in for a after work drink and noticed that they had just launched a New Tapas menu which is served between 4pm & 7pm every Friday - 3 bowls for £15 or £6 each. It was absolutely exceptional, the Garlic Prawns with crusty bread, served with a herb and oil dip that really complimented the whole dish. The Sherry glazed ribs just fell of the bone and the Chorizo & Cheese Croquettes were to die for. I will definitely be coming back with all the family to sample more of the 10 options available. A very well organized and professional team. Now just waiting for the evening entertainment

Very Disappointed with the Sunday Roast and there four of us. We expecting a good roast as this was our first time at the place. Three of us
had roast of the day and one had salmon. To our dismay when the roast arrived my beef was like dogs meat which I could not cut and a lot of fat. The Yorkshire pudding was a black as ever and we have never seen Yorkshire pudding served in such a burnt condition. I returned my roast meal and had another dish of salmon with rice and stirfry vegetables. To be honest, I only eat the salmon as the rice was as had as rock and the stirfry was very salty. My other friend had the salmon too and experienced the same as what I described.
Can you please advise the chef if he was a qualified one he would not have prepared the meal we had - it was utterly disgusting and a waste of money. Shall not go there again and will not recommend anyone. It would be advisable for the manager to check with the chef whether he has any experience.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff here. I visited today with my son whom has autism and struggles with social anxiety the team were super welcoming allocated us a nice quite table with little noise etc we ordered a burger and sandwich both excellent and the food was delivered very quickly amazing service and a delightful visit me and my son will visit again thank you all

I went to the Olive Branch with 5 friends for lunch recently. We loved the food and all agreed that the staff were great! They were really attentive and helpful. I have previously ordered a main course of steak in 4 different pubs/restaurants in Horsham and this one was definitely the best - amazing! Thank you
