Popped in for an hour after work, on a cold drizzly day. We didn't eat and not really there long enough to make a full judgement. But, with a pool table taking up a large portion of the floor, I'd say it probably has quite a young crowd. Looking forward to a return visit in the summer to sit in the garden with a meal and a glass of wine, which is a regular past time of my new work colleagues.

They hosted the village pensioners Christmas lunch, food and service was excellent, along with entertainment a great pre Christmas event was delighted to have been invited many thanks Bob

Big fireworks party out the back, with crowd and a band in the car park to the side. The staff did an excellent job of coping with it being crazily busy, so I didn't have to wait as long as I expected to get served - well done!There's a good range of drinks, lots of seating inside and benches outside. Looks well worth another visit under different circumstances.

Big heads up to The Shelley Arms for coming to our rescue! 12 of us pensioners, (more if they had known about it!) were for weeks without our local AgeUk being available to us, for our regular Friday get together and lunch. Ryan and Andy did us proud and made an area available to us and provided us with amazing Pensioners Meals, which were both delicious and very good portion sizes! We all like it so much there that it will be our go-to place in the future, for any gatherings and will tell anyone who'll listen, all about the friendliness and helpfulness of the wonderful staff there! No age discrimination at the Shelley Arms! Thank you! ? Maureen & the Friday Group. Xx

What a very pleasant and helpful landlord. We had a Pensioners meal, perfect !! How sensible to make these smaller meals and also they have childrens & INFANTS size meals.There is a disabled entrance and toilets for the disabled - no steps to worry about. We are going with a group later in the year and will look forward to that meal, knowing how we enjoyed today's food.

Coronation Bank Holiday. An excellent Pub ~ Very friendly staff & locals and there were plural musician acts and a children's entertainer laid on throughout the dayFood was fantastic and very modestly priced (our party had burgers, fries, onion rings and nachos [which were exceptional!])Second visit to The Shelly Arms. Excellent on both occasions
