First time back since the change over in ownership and I must say it was a decent experience.. bar staff happy and helpful.. i even had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was nice and welcoming. We were fortunate to have a DJ in the evening we attended so the atmosphere was relaxed yet buzzing at the same time. However Later on the pub did start to become a little over crowded, but I think that was due to the venue, Saturday night and music... still had a very enjoyable evening, thankyouLove the turn around to Ye Olde stout house...

Quaint old fashioned pub with wood floors and beams. Assortment of tables and armchairs. Very popular with locals. Badger ales but the only stout was Guinness.

Real Pub, Real Ale, Real People.A good old fashioned pub, no music, no food, just good ale!!!Go there, drink, enjoy...????
If the management don’t get a grip on things very soon i am afraid this once fine establishment will fold. The swearing from both staff and customers was off the scale and not just the odd slip but constant for the hour we were there. Extremely drunk locals absolutely off their faces which was very intimidating for the odd visiting customer. We witnessed at least 2 couples hurrying their drinks and scarper very quickly. Also, 6 of the beers had run out.. not a great look! Either poor management or cash flow issues but the few regulars they have will soon shop elsewhere if this continues. Great shame as this used to be “the pub” in Horsham for many a year.

I walked in for a quick ale after dinner while visiting Horsham. The staff was lovely, as it was new years day it was quiet but I loved chatting with the patrons. Great atmosphere and lovely beers.
