Had a table booked for two weeks now but noticed on their website that they are now permanently closed. Really nice of the people Running the place to not call up people who had tables booked and tell them they they are now closed. Just pleased I checked before turning up to a locked door.

Awful. Went on steak night. Requested my steak rare was told they wouldn’t cook it how I wanted it because it would be too chewy (what???) came out just past medium and tough as old boots. Triple cooked chips were so over done they were hollow in the middle and disinterested as soon as I tried to cut them must have been reheated into oblivion! Sent it all back, did not request a replacement - no point. Service from Kenzie and a red haired girl, I didn’t get her name was amazing though Shame the food/chefs let the place down. Would not recommend

Nice tapas/small plates menu midweek. A la carte at weekend. Large restaurant and small outside seating. Friendly staff but decor needs a makeover

Nice atmosphere, service was friendly and welcoming. The food was good quality and will be happy to return. We decided to fo for a 3 course deal, which was good value and far superior to pub grub.

Very disappointed with our food. We have visited Chambers on previous occasions but won’t be going back. The service was slow, the food was very disappointing and very overpriced.

Sunday lunch at Chambers was first class, roast lamb and sea bass just couldn't be faulted. Live music was a little loud, although very good, conversation with friends was difficult. We will return as a couple and enjoy the music and wonderful food. TR

I have dined in Chambers quite a few times over the years, the food had always been good but since the new owners have taken over the quality has moved up a couple of notches plus the ambiance and feel has improved too. There is not a massive menu but to me that's a good thing as the focus is on the prep, the cooking and presentation of the chosen dish, there is always something I fancy for dinner. The front of house staff are helpful and professional which is important as they are the link between kitchen and customer. I would have no hesitation on recommending Chambers Bistro to family and friends and one friend has even recommended the Sunday roast to me which I have yet to try.

I visited here with my partner recently; the food tasted good, the pricing was great and the staff were attentive. Unfortunately we were both ill after dinner, having shared a prawn starter, and not sharing any food earlier in the day. I would like to believe that this must be a one off. My only other criticism is that the live music was somewhat louder than needed for the size of the room, so worth sitting over the other side

Recently visited for a work lunch with a colleague and was very impressed. The interior was clean and well decorated throughout and the lady who served us was friendly and attentive. My colleague and I both thought that the food was excellent, we enjoyed two courses and a pint of beer each for under £50 including service which was a very fair price for the experience. Looking forward to returning.

Sardines were swimming in oil had to send back. The beef Wellington was over done and at nearly £40 wasn't impressed. It's nicely decorated and clean but won't be rushing back.
We visited for Sunday lunch and had the pleasure of some live jazz music to accompany our mealtime. The good servings were very generous, so there was no space for dessert! Service was good, and food came out quickly. Would recommend to others. Thank you

A local favourite in Shoreham-by-sea. Large interior dining with smaller terrace. Classic British / French / European Bistro Menu served creatively. I enjoyed the Duck Main followed by Eton Mess and an Espresso Coffee. Good range of choice for 2 or 3 courses. Recommend it.
