Best Cod & Chips and Haddock & chips yet.. Ordered around 7pm and asked for the fish to be bagged separately. Dished up at home 10mins later to enjoy the BEST Cod and chips ever..The Cod was moist and perfectly cooked. Batter crispy and chips great.. Also best curry sauce. Will defiantly being driving the extra miles to get fish and chips in future. (Food for 8 in total, great price).Thank you for a truly great meal.Highly recommended5 stars

Usually order from another Chinese in town but they were closed so we thought we would take the plunge and go local.Ordered a Chinese for collection as they didn’t deliver, Lovely little lady behind the counter, polite and professional as to be expected.Came home and dished up our food.Chicken satay skewers looked undercooked and slightly pink on the inside, they were chewy/rubbery and the sauce didn’t have any flavour nor did the egg fried rice / chicken chow mien.Prawn balls were greasy and extremely fishy. Spring rolls and crispy chilli beef was nice and the free prawn crackers were a nice touch.Despite being cheaper than our normal Chinese the quality simply wasn’t up to scratch.I won’t be returning sadly unless it’s for a portion of chips.

The fish was really greasy with streams of oil coming out when I cut into it. I had to peel off the batter but even so, I ended up with a horrible bout of D&V. It's put me off fish for

Amazing chinese!Walked in and the woman on the counter was friendly and smiley. Gave my name after ordering online.She got our food, handed it over and we left to go enjoy it. Until… the woman had appeared from behind the counter shouting my name - as she forgot to give me my spring rolls! ? bless her!The food was divine - I love that they actually do duck in satay sauce!!! So hard to find. The sweet and sour was both sweet and sour. The beef chow mein was divine! The hors d’oeuvres was lovely.Highly recommend!

Having tried most of the Chinese is in my local area, The Capital is my favourite. It’s both reasonable in price and good quality. Would definitely recommend!
Bit of a Shame the last 2 visits have not been very good and when ordering Chinese and fish and chips on the chinese menu it says one price but sadly its wrong and they charge extra ?Also the fish and chips food was very greasy and batter was not great at all very disapointing will be leaving it a while till I visit again.

Have been going to the Capital on and off since 1999.Cannot say I have ever been disappointed.Has a mixture of Chinese dishes as well as traditional Fish and Chips

Had a Fish and Chips supper from Capital yesterday, wish we hadn't bothered! both the fish and the chips were hard, tasted as if it had been warmed up from lunchtime.Never again perhaps, they should stick to Chinese food!!!!
