Gave us chips while we waited and such lovely service!

Not likely to use again. Got an OAP special - cod & chips. Fish was good but chips tasted like they’d been re-cooked. Disappointing.

I got a beautifully cooked piece of cod and brilliant crispy chips in my takeaway this evening. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was efficient and friendly. I am happy that we have such a good chippy in Southwick Square.

Hard to get carried away writing about a fish and chip shop but this one in Southwick Square approximately ties for best in the area with the Ropetackle one in Shoreham... at least in my opinion.

Got a really nice battered sausage and chips, prefer to use here than the grotty kebab hous enext door that rips you off. agree with others, needs longer opening times, especially Thursday to Saturday

What an absolutely delightful fish and chip shop. Each fish is exquisitely handled, so fresh, you can almost imagine the fish swimming and gamboling in the sea.The fish is gently coated in a light dusting of the finest flour, before being bathed in a bath of the most beautiful golden batter, whereupon it is immersed in the finest hot oil to cook it to perfection. The chips are absolutely amazing, so uniform in size that I can only imagine that they must use a ruler to ensure that each chip is perfectly sized, before also being immersed in hot oil to cook.An exemplary model of the finest cuisine in Southwick, a standard that with only persistance and dedication may be attained, and so aspired to by so many.My only wish would be for them to open longer in the evenings, 8:30pm on a Thursday and 9:00pm on Friday and Saturday is far to early for the doors to close on this gem of a shop. I really do hope they consider an extra 1½ Hours for each of these nights.Other than the horrendous kebab shop, there really is no where else to provide satiation after a few delightful drinks.

Divine. Great sausage and chips. Not too overly priced. What I like about Southwick, reasonable priced beers and reasonable priced sausage and chips.
