Pubs in Storrington

“I cannot speak highly enough of The Crown Inn. It's always difficult finding somewhere to eat when you are a vegan. I had been recommended The Crown Inn by another vegan, so thought we would give it a try. I called and spoke to the lovely son, who was so helpful and accommodating. I thought the vegetable pie was vegan but was told it's vegetarian, however I was immediately told that he was sure that they could do it as a vegan pie. Anyway, yesterday the lovely chef (landlord) made a vegan pie especially for me. It was the best pie I had ever had. I was so touched that a pub would go out of their way to do this for me. Many pubs seem to think us vegans are nothing but a pain and if they do do something vegan, it is so spicy you can't taste anything else. Besides the lovely meal we were made so welcome by all the staff. It is a family run pub..... and what a lovely family they are. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for the lovely meal.
