The staff are very good but I have to say the downstairs toilet in this shop is appalling and very dirty. Also the toilet cleaning rota had not been done for 3 days. Needs improvement

once the best on the high street !! Unfortunately standards dropped. The Worthing store is tired and run down. Huge staff turnover and no continuity and hence poor service . Recruitment terrible employing staff with no social skills or interest. In particular one girl is consistently rude has complete attitude problems and sometimes not even in cafe Nero outfit. This morning was the final straw for me and after 30 years of drinking in cafe Nero prominately in London , I will no longer visit the Worthing store. The manager is very good and the men , but she is let down in particular the girl with the red hair !!! And I’m not the only one to have complained about her !!

Amazing staff behind the counter but obviously overwhelmed. There was no one to clean up the tables as one of them was taking orders and the other was making coffee and whatever else was ordered. As soon as possible the female staff was coming out and put the place in order in no time with a smile on their face.They are hiring, probably trying but may need to try harder....
The staff ore ok. coffee ok .but hygiene appaling ..Tables left dirty ..Toilets reek of urine and are the worst I have ever been to.I won't return .

I keep returning because the coffee is consistently good BUT this caffè is always dirty and i am not sure that hygiene levels are upheld. The staff are super friendly but I think there is a lack of management ensuring that essentially jobs like keeping the toilet clean and clearing tables are done in a timely manner.n

Often visit Nero's as dog friendly. This place could desperately do with a refit as looking very tired, especially upstairs and toilets. Both toilets look very grubby and stained. Ladies hand dryer is no better than a gentle breeze on a spring morning!!!! Upstairs is a large airy space with a few small tables n chairs. It could be made so nice! Also no sweeteners in dispenser, and although they did find a couple of sachets eventually for my diabetic partner, I felt awkward.
