Fabulous lunch experience here, sea food is highly recommended. Sea bass in a tempura batter was fantastic ?Great staff too, owner operated, not a chain with teenagers on minimum wage. Give it a go.!

Left feeling upset and insulted by the rudeness of a staff member. An extra £50 was added to our bill and then amended without any real explanation or apology - we were actually slightly overcharged for our meal which I only just realised, so it was not correctly amended. We left the majority of our food as it was unfortunately bland. I’m sorry to write this, but I haven’t experienced service like that before and the lack of self awareness was quite something.I should also add the other waitress was great and took care to ensure my allergy was catered for which I really appreciated!I am sorry to write such a poor review, but I don't think people should be treated that way.

We had to pay up front for this meal £105 for 4 (2 adults, 2 children) without drinks, and after eating it I can see why we were robbed of our money beforehand, absolutely Vile. From the moment we walked in the door the staff that greeted us had an awful attitude (especially the manager) probably the rudest person I have ever met in a front of house scenario. There was no effort made by any of the staff or waiting staff to make conversation or communicate with their guests. You have to get up to get your own drinks which doesn’t lend itself to a relaxed dining experience either. We were served king prawns for starter which were extremely overcooked, hard and rubbery and did not carry a fresh flavour. We were only provided a wet wipe for our fingers which is totally insufficient when you are shelling your own prawns usually I would expect a warm lemon water finger bowl. Clearly no idea about finer dining. This places is so out date and could do with a few episodes on Gordon’s kitchen nightmares to shake the tree and sing some home truths.Anyway on complaint to the jumped up manager about the prawns, he replied “oh that’s terribly unfortunate” as if to say we were lying. He had no concern that we had a bad experience and just claimed to be surprised. Anyway he then offered to refund the prawn dish but then changed tact (when I said we had already paid) and palmed us off with a round of drinks we were buying for “free” and said “call it evens shall we”!!!! Unbelievable.I haven’t even mentioned the extremely chewy beef main with dry roast potatoes and dish water gravy, and the cheeseboard which had next to no cheese with it. And what seemed like the microwaved syrup sponge pudding, tinned custard with added vanilla bean. Not a pleasant I do not recommend going here. Seriously don’t waste your money.

Lovely food, great service and a chance to win a percentage of the bill if you book (not sure if this is every night). We got 25% off!

The occasion was a Xmas Lunch for the Broadway Park Resident Social club Lancing (Party of 61). The atmosphere was great, food was delicious, staff were very polite and professional. Feedback from the club members were all positive, will certainly arrange another event this year.

Christmas luncheon on a busy Sunday, very pleasant pianist in the background and attentive service from the team. Tasty food too, no complaints!

We have been coming here for our company Christmas Parties for more than 8 years and can’t recommend it highly enough. The food, service and ambience are all excellent. The staff can’t do enough for you, nothing is to much trouble. By miles the best hotel/venue in Worthing, and very reasonably priced to.

Our friends meet up here every Christmas for a festive dinner, have always enjoyed the ambience and food. Last night was a real disappointment. The presentation of the lamb and the pork dishes was awful. Rump of lamb overcooked, had to request steak knife. Thrown in a bowl, and some new potatoes added. I had requested to change from barley rissotto. Also , no vegetables, which they use to serve for all to share. The pork, two big round unappetising slices of pork, placed on top of something ,again in a bowl. This was not nice presentation of food. Note to chef, you cannot cut meat up properly in a bowl, and it does nit look nice. Also, in spite of the place being very quiet, our server, seemed to be rushing us to make decisions, in spite of the fact she was not exactly rushed off her feet! Next year, we will not be celebrating at Indigo.

Fabulous Christmas party night with dinner and dance at Indigo at The Ardington Hotel on Saturday, 2 December, we went with 14 couples. Nothing was too much trouble and the waiting staff were very helpful. Food was fantastic, thank you so much, we will definitely come back again in 2024.

We've been fairly regularly to the Indigo for some years and it's always a great experience. It isn't the cheapest restaurant in town but may well be one of the best. The menu isn't long, which we think is a good thing. The food is top quality, as is the service. Looking forward to our next visit!

This is the second time we’ve visited here , being of the belief that every establishment deserves a second chance , based on this visit where the crispy salt and pepper squid lacked any kind of seasoning , and most definitely was not freshOn to the mains , the roast beef had so much sinew to the point of being inedible , accompanying vegetables had definitely been sitting around for some time rather than being served freshThe fact that we left so much on the plate should have provoked some comments from serving staff as to why that wasIn a day and age where dining out is increasingly becoming something of a luxury I most definitely did not get value for money nor frankly felt less than a valued customerAn experience not to be repeated

Ten of us went to celebrate a 60th birthday. Great company, fab venue, amazing staff and gorgeous food. Perfect. We can’t wait to go again!
