First try of Papa John’s. Pizza is wrong, one of the sides is wrong.

I had a BBQ meat feast pizza, "spicy" jalapeno poppers and cauliflower bites. The pizza was bland and very oily, the poppers fell apart and we're not spicy and were also bland. The cauliflower bites were nice! However I literally only got 3 "decent" sized bites and the rest were

Was really looking forward to our 1st Papa John's as usually use Texas Pizza who are much cheaper on there but one get another for a pound deals...Was very disappointed as so much of the pizza edge 60mm had no topping in many areas, won't be using them again ?

Awful. Missing items. Stone cold. Avoid. Papa Johns use to be a solid place for a good value pizza which was constantly good, not anymore.

Best pizza ever tops any other places

We ordered four XXL pizzas; they were all excellent. They were ready on time - actually a bit early, which was good because we picked them up early too. (Since we collected them ourselves I can't comment on delivery.) Staff attitude was pleasant and helpful.

Shocking! Cold food, tasteless and awful service. 2 hours for this! Manager sighed when asked to speak on the phone then laughed down the phone when I asked why the dips were not added! Worst takeaway!

I never had an issue previously. The pizzas have always been delicious. On this occasion, we received the pizzas cold and hard, which can happen of course considering how many orders have to be delivered on a Friday evening. Again, I'm not usually one to complain but as the prices are quite high, I was not really pleased of the quality. I called the place in Worthing and explained the situation. The person could not care less and didn't provide any solution to this issue. I therefore asked to speak to a manager and the reply was that I was already speaking to him. Quite shocking that a manager would be so rude and void of communication skills to be honest. He finally agreed to make the pizzas again but we had to return the cold ones, which is not an problem besides the fact that people were hungry and had to wait an extra 45 minutes. All this to say that their customer service is appalling and many better solutions could have been provided. Even though we enjoy the pizzas and have been loyal customers for many years, this experience will probably prove to be our last with this brand. If this was in fact the manager, I think they could be taught a thing or two about managing product/service complaints. Not sure if this will be read by higher management but just know that this situation could have easily been avoided with someone with actual customer service skills.

Been waiting over an hour with *no* updates so farUpdate: it's now been nearly 3 hours since we ordered, no sign of it. Tried calling and it just said the line was busy.Update(2): yeah the food never arrived, I've emailed the chain and said I will get a response within 5 days. I requested a refund.

As it took 26 minutes for my pizza to travel from the shop to my home (2.5 miles), it's no surprise that it and the side were both only warm at best - £2.49 charge, for warm at best / cold the rest = means that I will never shop with this company again.

Ordered via Just Eat at 10:30pm and no sign of my pizza at 00:04 past midnight. The restaurant never used the on its way push notifications and then just before midnight, at closing time, claimed its delivered on their Justeat orderpad.AVOID!!!!!!!Now making a claim via JustEat to try get my £22 back.FINALLY, pizza arrived at 12:20am , delivered by a very apologetic and friendly driver. Not his fault waiting nearly 2 hours, he did say the restaurant was very busy and I am his last delivery.

I would love to give this place 5 stars as I regularly ordered through the covid lockdowns. However in the last year/ year and a half, they have had a changeover of management and unfortunately it's gone completely downhill. Most recent order had me and my friend and partner waiting over an hour with the online tracker not making any progress whatsoever.I tried to call several times but the call just wouldn't go through. My friend and partner also tried calling. Waited another half hour before deciding to go to tescos to get dinner as we weren't going to spend money on another takeaway.Got home and cooked tesco pizza, just for my friend to joke about making a bet that the pizza would arrive 5 minutes before they shut. Low and behold, he was right. Tesco pizza cooked and sitting down to eat at almost 11pm, the door knocks and I outright refuse the delivery and request a refund. In total, we waited 1 hour and 35 minutes.Today I received no call back or email to confirm I would be refunded. So I visited the branch to ask for a refund in person. The guy who I talked to didn't offer any apologies, was rather rude with his tone and didn't come across as friendly. Fingers crossed I should get a refund within 5 days. This Papa Johns was honestly a favourite of mine from 2020-2021 but sad to say, I won't be ordering again.I really recommend you don't order from this branch. I'm not the only one, many people have had orders not turn up, phone calls left unanswered and have experienced rude and subpar service.Which is a shame because the pizza is great.
