I have eaten in the restaurant in the past and was very happy with the food and warm service. I ordered a takeaway tonight on Deliveroo and the food that was delivered was not only bad but inedible! It is almost like all the dregs and old food that has been under the lights for a few days was slopped into the aluminium dishes and sent to my house! So disappointed that I will never order a takeaway from them again.

Went for a meal last night with my wife and wasn’t impressed. We have been many time s in the past and always had a very good meal. Last night we had to wait nearly an hour for our meal.When it did arrive it was tasteless and not up to previous standards.The drinks were very expensive for mediocre wine. The sauces and pickles that come with pompadoms seemed to be watered down. We won’t be going back any time soon which is a shame as it is very local to us.

Peviously we have rated the Indian food from this place very highly. This time we collected dishes for 6 people. I had chosen the most expensive Chef's Special. What a shock!! it was almost tasteless!! I had to use "pataks Lime Pickle" in order to give it an uplift. The following night my wfe made a quick, mild currye which was much better!

Ate here last Saturday evening while visiting family. We have been to this restaurant before however not for several years. It was always a great place to eat and that hasn't changed. The welcome was warm and we were seated straight away as my sister in law had booked. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and drinks were served quickly. The food was all tasty and delicious and beautifully presented. My chicken tikka madras was perfect and every member of our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. The naan bread was the lightest, most beautiful naan I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back to Shafiques next time we're in Worthing.

We usually love the food here and the occasional takeaway. But last night we were joined by a cockroach scuttling across the table. So i’m afraid we will not be going there again.

I am guessing Wednesday is the the chef's night off, ordered a takeaway which had a truly tasteless watery vindaloo sauce, with dubious chicken (we ordered and paid for tikka meat) so different to the takeaway meal we had on Saturday night from here, which was excellent. I cannot believe they were happy to let this leave their kitchen.

We went on a Monday night and I was surprised to see how busy it was, testament to how good Shafiques is. The service was fast and staff friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and could not fault it at all. Would most definitely recommend and we'll be going back.

We eat here regularly or get the takeaway. Food is always fantastic.The main thing is the service and welcome. Very professional and welcoming.I am 57 and have had my fair share of curries all over the UK. Shafiques comes in my top 3 of all time.Highly recommended.

Food was nice but the meat was a very small portion, the majority was sauce and veg for the curry we ordered. I expected more as it was quite expensive. Also felt that we were rushed to leave by a waiter (figured that it was the owner as his name was the same as the restaurant) kept hovering and asking if we finished do we want to order anymore food etc.
