Was a little let down this time after not coming for about a year or so. The missus got the lasagna which was nice but the entire bottom was burnt. I got a dirty chilli dog which was pretty decent but needed mustard (none to be found). Service wasn’t great. No smiles, no thank yous. No “how was the food” or “can I get you anything?” Felt like I was interrupting their conversation with the audacity of wanting to order something. While the food was alright I did think it was priced slightly higher than what I would have expected for the quality. You get better food cheaper elsewhere. Unfortunately I think I’ll be steering to another establishment if this one gets suggested again. Will try again in the summer when the boat’s location can really be enjoyed.

Went yesterday for 60th birthday party, everyone ordered different food from varied menu which arrived in reasonable time, all home cooked food, all of which was enjoyed. my cottage pie was delicious and large. Would

We visited the boat after viewing the menu on the website but when found the one in the pub was completely smaller and the choices very limited. The website gave the menu a good selection to no avail date visited 29 July 6pm Terry

Worst place I’ve been, wouldn’t even pour some hot water for a disabled person who tendencies to drink cups of tea. Even though we had a group of around 15.Couldn’t pour a cup of tea. Please have a think before trying this place. The people behind it serve with a sarcastic smile.First and last time for us ?

First time in this place and will be the last. I have a disabled sister who can not walk or talk and has tendencies to drink cups of tea (to stay happy) unfortunately this two minute probably even one minute job was to much on that day for the staff. (Wasn’t busy) They sarcastically with a smile declined to pour some hot water for a young disabled girl, one guy was willing to but this horrible woman told him not to. Although we had around 15 people who had just ordered drinks. One drink and we was gone. Place is very run down and isn’t clean. Needs a full refurb and a full change of owners/staff.

We stopped off for some lunch. Very nice sandwiches and children's meal. Could do with a touch of modernising but overall was a good visit. Would return.

Haven't eaten here yet but the staff are great, lovely beer garden, dog and child friendly, always a favourite spot in summer.

Large waterside pub, seating on banking lovely location, however the building is run down and neglected, dated and grubby inside too but an opportunity to see some late 80s artex and faux brick chimney breast before they are all gone from our culture forever. It would benefit greatly from a refresh, or at least a deep clean.Large carpark and garden , the food is comparable with Wetherspoons perhaps even slightly better and a higher chip count for those of a larger appetite. Prices are fair if not quite spoons cheap.I would use it again but I would avoid the bland chilli. On a par with the Swan at Ledston but a little bit more "Cas" in feel.
