Visited La las today for our Christmas meal. Food was very good with a great range of choices. Venue was stunning and the staff were friendly and attentive. Christmas songs playing in the background provided additional festive cheer. Wonderful time enjoyed by the five of us.

Absolutely amazing food - definitely worth a visit. The staff were really polite and the desi dish we ordered along side the deserts were mouth watering

Disappointing take away. 80 minutes to deliver, all luke warm. Poppadoms were stale, no mango chutney in pickle tray. Onion barji were undercooked and inedible. Chicken pakora were soggy, and the salad accompanying it looked days old. Garlic naan was plain and boring. Mains OK but nearly cold. Very disappointed after spending a lot on a take away, you need to up your game Lalas, won't be ordering again anytime soon

The place was empty..now I know why! We was shown to our table and the music was blaring, I asked the young waitress to turn it down abit..she did..for 5 mins..I asked her a few times during our meal to turn it down..we couldn't hear ourselves talking it was that loud. We ordered drinks..2 cokes..and was told 15 mins later that they only have irn bru or fruit drinks. Our food came eventually..and was cold..it was tasteless, the meat was fatty/slimy..and the naan bread was dry/stale. Not nice. We paid the bill and the young lad on the desk wasn't very thankful..took my money with no "thank yous". Don't visit the toilets...they're absolutely filthy..I had to use the mens toilets (we was the only ones in the place!) We won't be visiting again, it's a shame cos the place looked lovely..from the outside!.

Iv always had the best experience eating at Lala’s restaurants around Leeds. The staff are always so happy and so attentive. I told my partner this evening that it’s the only restaurant that’s always consistent with amazing customer service. I always recommend this restaurant to friends. The food was beautiful as always too.

I would 110% recommend.I booked a birthday party for 40 people, the food was great quality and quantity. The owner went the extra mile and the staff were spotless, especially Maryiam and Sanna.A birthday not to forget, thank you all for making this day special for us.

Went early so it was quiet, but the staff, surroundings and food were excellent. The bar is yet to be finished so no alcohol available at the moment but you can byo or purchase soft drinks. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: 2 vegetarians in our group and neither had an issue finding something.Parking: At the side of the restaurant

Shocking! - What happened to this place? We were at a table for just over 2 hours and all others were also complaining of slowness. Not enough waiting staff (only had 2) for around 8-9 tables. My prawn puri starter was so dry (pictured) I think someone forgot to add the masala sauce?? Starters didn’t come with any mint yoghurt and the salad was extremely basic. The curry was ok but by the time it arrived at the table we had lost appetite. Also we had 4 empty glass soft drink bottles on the tables but every time a waitress came to take a finished plate or bring food with a trolley(!) the empty bottles were just left at the end of the table - why? It’s not hard to see a table has empty bottles and pick them up, surely? We used to like this place but they’ve really forgot how to perform so will just go back to the Pudsey branch in future.

My sister hosted one of her wedding events here and we have been left with a bitter taste since.Despite the venue being absolutely gorgeous from inside (stage area) - the management and staff really let down the whole experience. We were told we could come the night before to set up desserts however this was later denied by the manager. He charged us £50 from the £250 bond he held, for the use of 2 tables (that had dirty black tablecloths on them) for us to use to display desserts. He claimed that he doesn’t allow private dessert displays and everything has to be in house yet he never discussed his own dessert set ups with us. It’s appalling that he charged us £50 for a table covered with a dirty tablecloth but that’s what happens when managers are greedy and don’t care about the overall impression and reputation of their business. The £200 remaining bond itself was transferred 6 days after the event and only when I messaged persistently and called. I think it’s very distasteful to hold onto a customers rightful money for that long, especially when he was very quick to ask for the deposit from us. Weddings are a hectic time, no bride has the time to be chasing after her own money. The service on the day was less than professional. All young kids working on the night, who had to be told how to serve. When asking for refills, the trays at times came back half empty again despite there being plenty of food. The servers thought it was okay for our guests to eat a runny dessert off a flat plate. It was only when I complained that they brought out plastic bowls and spoons for our guests to use. Looked really tacky, the rest of the food was served on glass plates and cutlery yet the dessert was served off plastic bowls. When I gave this feedback to the manager via WhatsApp, he defended himself by saying that this particular dessert is always served off a plastic bowl which I think quite frankly is a mockery. If it is the truth then he needs to fix it as it looks very cheap. £20 per head per guest is enough money to use glass bowls.Used this venue for the first ever time to host a family event and it will be the last ever time too. Disappointing service. I’ve attached a picture of the stained black table cloth.

My wife and I visited on 15/9/23 and found the restaurant had only been open a few days after not just a refurbishment but a change of style. The interior now can cater for wedding parties and has been designed in a traditional Islamic style whilst still keeping tables for a normal restaurant. They have incorporated an "Early doors" pricing where you can have a 5 course meal for about £13. Firstly, two young ladies provided the serving and necessary explanations on various dishes. Their service is a credit to the restaurant as they were excellent. Well, the food was brilliant and the best I have had in this area. However, I wish they had heated the plates as it did call the meal down a little quicker tham my consumption of it. Take your own alcohol which one has to respect but just that on its own made it an inexpensive night out. Will be going there again this week!
