Really lovely experience overall. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The server took care to ensure we understood the menu and chose a dish which suited our spice preference.

Really nice and relaxed restaurant, staff was polite and helpful. Food was lovely and lots of it. The manager/owner is very friendly loves to chat. Clean and tidy, toilets clean. Not over priced and you can have a good relaxed evening here.

It was quite quiet so not much atmosphere. Waiters were attentive and polite. Food was tasty but not spicy - I had requested medium and my husband had asked for his hot but all dishes were very mild, infact the dhal I got did not seem to have any spice, just tasted buttery? OK but not great. ?

We went to Thaal for a family meal, and unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations due to poor service. Upon arrival we were seated at the bar for half an hour but no one asked us if we wanted a drink. Then when we were taken to our table it took ages for someone to take our order, and the food took an age to arrive. From walking in the door to our starter arriving, it was around 90 minutes. We had a mixed starter and it wasn't good - the fish was dry and I got several bones in my mouth. The main curry was nice but the lemon rice was so overly lemony and the naan was sweaty doughy and bland. We were there for 2.5 hours, it wasn't cheap and we were left feeling disappointed. I see a lot of good reviews for Thaal so I hope it was just a one-off.

After getting some really good recommendations we chose to come here. Unfortunately won’t be returning. Starter over cooked, curry’s really sweet. Chicken was dry. However the nan was great and the meat in the lamb was nice and tender

10 out of 10 for everything, it's the best curry me and my partner have ever had.. An absolute must place to eat. Cannot recommend it enough.

Excellent in every way. Service Food ambiance. Would highly recommend this place . They do everything possible to please you . Food is absolutely delicious. Only thing for me personally I like more sauce . The gentleman taking our order did not understand when I said this . But they tried to rectify this by bringing more sauce .!!
Been to Thai many times over the past 6 years. Used to be so good. Now manager brings you a meal you had not ordered saying "this is a new recipe that we are trying" - NO I want want I ordered. Then drinks - ordered Neck Oil - another brew arrived saying it is much better - NO bring me what I ordered. Lamb Palak - used to be the best on the menu - last time small amount of lamb in thin gravy - certainly not lamb palak. Finally the Pehwari Naan used to be great - now very small amount of additions and very much like a plain naan. We will give it one more try but if the service and quality don't improve we shall go elsewhere.

Great food here. Staff are super friendly. The lamb chops are to die for. All four of us enjoyed every last bite and even had to bring some home as we ordered too much. We've had takeaway from here before and loved it but eating in is the way to go in my opinion. Had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.

Chilled atmosphere with lots of space. Very good restaurant and bar service with attentive and friendly staff. Menu is higher end cuisine rather than curry favourites. If you have allergies the staff are happy to talk through the menu, everything is cooked fresh. Great tasting food - we were given free extras (crispy veg, onion, potato and spinach delish') I have given 4 stars not 5 as meal for 2 with drinks was £45.
