We didn't eat so I cannot mark it down for food.Service: as expected at a busy spoons, and it was busy. Staff were quick in getting orders out.Atmosphere: it's a bit of an older drinkers pub which I don't mind. I wouldn't take the wife on a date night, not bad to meet up with the lads for a few before going g out around town.Drinks are spot on, good variety, served perfectly chilled and well priced.

What's with the queues in Wetherspoons these days? Staff don't seem to want to control it, some people queue, others don't - everyone falls out. Can't be bothered with the hassle and would rather go elsewhere..

Food and drink arrived very fast. Tasted decent as well. It's an impressive building.

Lovely little pub with great atmosphere. The old building used to be a church and on the top floor they kept the old circular pews and the massive church organ. And of course, like any other 'spoons, great food and drink at fantastic

Great use of a stunning building. I gave the food 5 stars, that's not a quality rating, it's for value. It's spoons, you know what to expect.Good value and large choice of beers.

Nice place, toilets down stairs which is a bonus! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, When ordering through the app it did take a long time.

First time going in, didn’t expect mush to be honest. Left wanting to go straight back in. Service was class, the atmosphere was sick and don’t get me started on the chicken wings. Absolute beauty.

Great looking place with an original church organ. Staff were lovely and food freshly

This has to be up there amongst the top Spoons - converted from a former Methodist Chapel. Great choice of cask ale and such friendly service.

Absolutely disgraceful the way things were handled, food came out cold and raw, when this was stated food was taken away not to return for another 25 minutes, when I went over to the bar to complain the bar staff questioned why we hadn’t had our food back yet and stated she’d give a refund and still give the food once it came out, the waiter came out and took the food back when he knew a refund was being put through. So we were left with no food after sitting for almost an hour waiting for it. Absolute shambles.
Was very quiet, which we like. The Goose Eye Chinook was in superb condition. Bravo! Had the chicken - it was fine. Typical Spoons food, you know what you're getting.

Popped in for a pint with a mate, lovely drinks, reasonable prices, excellent service, quiet areas to talk, and for one man to read!! Decided to stay rather than move on. I have had food b4 on an earlier visit, that was good too. But not eaten this time.

Very well converted into a pub by Spoons as they always do. Good selection of real ales and the full food menu.

Went for lunch. Enjoyed some simple pub grub (sausage, beans and chips). The venue is an old church,it still has the organ and pews upstairs. Relaxed atmosphere. Like all Wetherspoons, you order and pay for the meal at the bar, and it's brought to your table when ready. Prompt service by a smiling friendly employee. On the down side.....it still has that churchy feel to it, a bit gloomy.
