I've always gone to the rising sun for a pint but discovered somewhere to park in Normanton close to the junction inn and I promise its now my favourite place to be parked up Carling £3 a pint... Full of characters... music on... sky sports... just around the corner from takeaways... you can't beat it great staff and a really good yorkshire pub. Always busy everytime I've been not one of these pubs nowadays that shuts at 9 because nobody is in... if I could give 6 stats i would.??”

Pubs • “Went for fathers day as a group of 4 had a mixture of meat choices on our carvery and 1 had the pie absolutely fabulous meal and service also the men loved the little extra of a bun for afters . definitely be back ”

“The standard and cleanliness of this place is excellent but by far the best feature of the stay were the staff. Sally and Donna looked after us very well and were accommodating of additional things we asked for. The stay included a light breakfast which was very good with a range of options, importantly Yorkshire Tea was available. We stayed in room 6 which was on Booking.com as a triple which it was not- just be careful if you book through them and I’d actually recommend booing direct. The room faced the road which got very busy quite early which wasn’t a problem for us but others may want to consider.”
