Visited Saturday 20th January at 6pm with my wife. Food was beautiful and service was A+++. Mixed starter for 2 excellent. Garlic chilli chicken excellent. Chicken rogan josh excellent. Took 2 bags of onion bhajis back to the Flatt Top at Thornhill for our friends in the pub. and they loved them. Our second visit and won't be out last. Keep up the good work?

Fantastic food . Nice clean restaurant ..Visited Monday evening, very quiet , which suited is perfectly . Staff very friendly ..Tandoori Mixed Grill , Wow , loads of food on a sizzling skillet , perfectly cooked , Bhuna , Tikka Massala , all said were fab ..Due to amount of food on the mixed grill a Doggy bag was required..Looking forward to that later ..Very trasonable prices too. . Deffo visit again when in Dewsbury ..

Heard about this place on tick tock apparently amazing food by a few food GURUS. Can say very disappointed by the quality of the food especially the kebabs which had been fried and the tasteless chicken wings and also the fish what was totally tasteless. Avoid at all cost.

Even though they hadn't opened yet the lady made me what I requested and it absolutely wonderful. Many would have made you wait outside until they opened. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

Upon arrival (as a large party) we were seen to promptly and shown to our allocated tables. We were offered table water and popadoms/pickle trays which was nice… Without being rushed by staff we had our order taken, my corner of the party ordered tawa plates. Absolutely divine. I went for the chicken and spinach balti, along with Fish Pakoras/Masala?, Chicken Tikka, Donner Meat and chips - I ordered rice separate as it doesn’t come included. Absolute bargain, my partner and I shared a plate and still had a doggy bag! Brilliant value. Akeel & Staff, don’t change a thing! ?

Been more than pleased with the royal king over the last year but the last 3 takeaways have been dissapointing will try one more time and if it’s not better will be looking elsewhere

Visited here on several occasions but the last three times we have been I have noticed a downfall in a lot of areas . The floor of the restaurant was dirty ie. Greasy surface as did the table. Also the toilet areas leave a lot to be desired . The very last time we visited both our meals were very unsatisfactory, and when we pointed out the fact on paying for these we mentioned this to the Manager and all he did was shrug his shoulders as we left. After giving the place the benefit of the doubt after been disappointed twice before this , we will not be going ever again . Sorry ?

My wife and I popped in on the spur of the moment around 6.00pm after a long train journey. We really just needed to have a snack, so we ordered a mixed starter for one person, plus rice and papadums. It contained chicken joints, lamb steaks, kebabs, salad and more. This meal was cooked to perfection, We stuffed ourselves despite having only wanting snacks. In the end they containerised enough of what remained for us as well. The service could not be faulted. the interior of the place was exceptionally smart. One downside _ no alcohol for sale but can take your own. Providing you remember that, its not a problem and makes whole experience much cheaper. £20 in total..... what can you say. We will return

Went for the tawa compared to others I’ve had…felt for flavour it was below par. The service was good and it’s BYO too. Parking not too bad. Beware..cash only no cards accepted??

Been here about 5 times now! We usually always order the Tawa for 2 but we’ve also ordered from the early bird menu and the normal menu. Large portions of absolutely amazing food, brought in a really timely manner-the pace is really great so you don’t feel hurried. Staff are always around but not bearing down on you. Speedy soft drinks service and nothing is too much trouble. It’s unlicensed so you can take your own booze too! The manager/owner is always around and he really cares that you’ve enjoyed your food and will come at the end of the meal and have a chat. Best restaurant in Dewsbury in my opinion! If you like a good curry at a decent price, great service and nicely decorated restaurant then this place will not disappoint!
