Gone down hill past few years which is a great shame. Used to be quality and tasty.I always find gelatine lumps in a few of the dishes which puts me off. Meat is sometimes rubbery. Chips often overcooked and never consistent. They used to be amazing. Curry sauce taste bland and like chip shop stuff. Two king prawns in special. Not a treat anymore.

Walked into this chippy on our way to the train station, very strange atmosphere, no cooking smells, no fryers in the front, no fridges, no condiments, a sign saying cash only and another sign no eating inside..?We Jst ordered chips and gravy x2 and chips.. Jst over £11..!!We looked at the menu and it was £2.20 Jst for gravy..By this time we had already paid, weWaited quite a while and a lady walked from the back with a bag of chips and 2 take away boxes I immediately opened it and they were frozen chips!!No offer of salt and vinegar she Jst said they were hot!We will not be returning, real strange place..

Very expensive. Poor food. The lady serving doesn't really seem to keep track of who has ordered what. We ordered sausage, chips and curry. £6.20! Waited around 20 minutes, being served after other people that came in after us. Won't be going back, that's for sure.

The menu here is huge and there is something for everyone! It is worth noting it is a cash-only business, which we did forget!The food is very good, the portions are a good size and it has become a firm favourite for a quick dinner when we don't want to cook.
