CAFÉ MIJO is a brilliant spot. Not to mention the wedges are just impeccably good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! Would eat here everyday if I could. I personally love chilli, never tried it on a hot dog until here. C’est la vie (;

A fantastic cafe with a great selection of great tasting food and cakes. The staff were really friendly and helpful and it is a pleasant spot for lunch.

Little dog friendly cafe in the centre of town, ordered a chicken and bacon sandwich and nachos. The sandwich was lovely for the price, the nachos however were an absolute rip off, plain nachos with small amount of melted cheese, little pot of salsa and little pot of mayo (in reality it was thousand Island dressing), the nachos were £6 but to add cheese it was an extra £2, well overpriced.

Lovely friendly staff, we was a little last minute going in for for food before they closed but they very kindly accommodated us and our two labradors.Lovely food and very reasonably priced.

Came to this cafe after seeing it on TV this morning - and also doing a bit of Happy Valley landmark spotting. Really nice spot in the town. Delicious coffee and best bacon butty I've had in a long time. I got to sit in the seat where Catherine Cawood sat - and I was even served by the ladies off the TV interview. Good times !!

First time visiting the area (which is beautiful!) and stopped here for brunch. We grabbed the only table that had space for 4 which was full of empty plates etc from the previous people. We had to ask for the table to be cleared but ended up taking the dishes in to them ourselves because nobody was coming out to clear/clean the table.Ordered American pancakes, loaded wedges, brie walnut & grape sandwich, and a chicken & bacon bagel, with a pot of tea, an iced coffee, a san pellegrino, and a tropical smoothie.The pancakes were average. Not enough berries in my opinion, but the berries that weee on there tasted fresh. The sandwich was totally bland. Wedges and bagel were average, we have definitely had better. The smoothie was gross - it was lumpy and had an awful aftertaste so we asked to swap it for a can of coke. And the tea, despite being in a pot, was cold.The service was honestly simply awful. Aside from the fact that we had to clear the table ourselves, the girl that waited our table barely said a word to us. When we asked to swap the smoothie she just walked off and brought a coke back without a single word. When she brought our food, she came over and just looked at us as though waiting for us to shout out what we had ordered for her. We then had to wait for her to bring out cutlery etc.The only reason the atmosphere was good was thanks to the general mood of the square and the man playing the guitar just outside the cafe.Would not come back to eat the next time we visit this beautiful town.

Never been in here before and it’s safe to say myself or my family members will NOT be returning, went in for breakfast which cost £10 per breakfast and it was awful, so much so we’re all poorly today. The meat breakfast wasn’t nice at all, the sausage had an awful taste on both breakfasts, same with the bacon tough rubbery and tasted like they were on their way out. The vegi sausage you could have bounced across the cafe. Not good. The coffee was the only nice thing we had. Two staff members working the older lady was spot on, the younger one looked like she would rather be anywhere than where she was, leaving the older lady to run about doing everything. Will never return here.

Gluten free options are available and the sandwich (blt) was delicious. The jacket potato with cheese and beans looked delicious and was a good size but the potato was only half cooked so was only half eaten. The hot dog was tinned sausage on a bun and the fried onions for which I paid £1 extra were dry fried bits. Very disappointing

One of the nicest if not the nicest coffee in hebden bridge. The cakes are a really nice addition.The service is second to none. I would highly reccomend.

Great café. The gentleman host was absolutely lovely and really friendly and the coffee was very tasty. Dog friendly which is important to us and we sat outside in the beautiful weather. Hebden Bridge is a lovely place very pretty. Great architecture.

Average food, however poor service.Once we were seated (after the table had been cleared) I had to ask again to have the table cleaned as it was full of ketchup.Food ok I guess, however the Jacket potato had clearly been kept warm for too long

Lovely La Perla meal at Cafe Mijo. Since the fire La Perla have moved to Cafe Mijo and are serving some wonderful food on Friday and Saturday evenings. We had a super meal, pasta for me and a risotto for my other half. Service was great and the food really nice. Would definitely visit again.
