This is a brilliant little cafe in the park. A great stop off during a walk. Wonderful coffee, cakes and hard working staff.

Had a great experience and time at the cafe. All the reviews about the COUNCIL OWNED toilets and facilities are totally unjust because how’s it their job to deal with facilities that are not their responsibility.Overall the ice cream and drink I had were absolutely tasty and the atmosphere was quite friendly and the prices are fair for the selection on offer. The entertainment for kiddies is also given with a small table that has paper on it with some crayons, which I think is super cute.Really recommend the cafe for its food, especially the ice cream and it’s fun and friendly atmosphere!Vegetarian options: There’s many ice cream flavours that even cater to vegan people. Otherwise things are very clearly labelledDietary restrictions: They have a well written menu and if there’s any questions the staff are always able to be askedKid-friendliness: There’s a cute table with some small chairs with paper and crayons for the kids to draw on

Waited ages for 2 very small pasties that cost an absurd £7 and tasted like they were from the Iceland frozen food aisle... and they didn't even get our order right ? I'll remove this is you send me the £7 you owe me on PayPal.

Told my 4 year old disabled boy off for eating food not bought from them. We waited 10 minutes to place an order and left after getting told off. Would of bought food and drinks for myself and my wife if not abused. Matches the state of the play park perfectly.

At first, I was going to write a 5-star review, but I was utterly disappointed by the rude customer service from the manager in the end towards young people. The treatment I received from the manager was appalling, DISRESPECTFUL and unwelcoming. My friend paid for a £1.50 tea but ended up spilling it before he could drink it as the lid wasn't sealed properly on the cup, and he ended up with a burn on his hand. At first, the manager gave a gesture of goodwill by giving us another one but then started criticising us young people that we got given a 'free' drink and for stealing the business by borrowing a few stools that we returned and wasn't needed at all the entire time! This experience ruined our entire Hebden Bridge journey. If your visiting Hebden bridge, there are MANY better alternatives in town that are kind and welcoming.

Aggressive staff and RUDE to young people !!!My daughter went to café with her friends, they bought a drink from cafe and sat there with their own snacks ,a cafe staff aggressively shouted at them to leave ,although they are all just child under age 18! This is completely not acceptable behaviour as an adult like that ,it let young people down ,my daughter and her friends very upset ,scared and walked away silently after the staff been rude to them !!! this is the first independent trip to Hebden for 16th birthday, they feel not Safe anymore to go out!!! I hope this review can make everyone attention and service in the public should improving ,and make sure young people feel welcomed and safe by Well-trained staff !!!

We visited on a lovely summer day They were very organised. You ordered at one side and they gave you a number. They shouted your number out and you collected your order at the other side. This is OK but I only ordered an ice cream cornet and I waited 25 mins for it. They have a separate hatch for ice cream which wasn't in use. They need to do the ice cream separate or they will lose custom

Lovely place, friendly service with a smile despite being very busy

Haven't yet tried the Park Life Cafe though it looks pleasant enough. My main criticism is the utterly appalling state of the adjoining toilets, which we used yesterday. The toilets had no soap, no toilet roll, which meant we had to use wipes which we had with us. Unfortunately there were no bins to put rubbish in, nor any bin specifically for sanitary products. Considering how busy Hebden Bridge and the park are, especially coming into the warmer weather, the owners really need to step up on their cleaning and checking of these facilities, as they are currently a major health hazard, and do not give a favourable impression of Hebden Bridge. Whoever has responsibility for these toilets should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Outside seating. Friendly staff. Lovely ice cream.

Went today, and although I really enjoyed the ice cream it was the smile of the girl who served us that made the experiance. You simply can't teach people to exude friendliness
