“Amazing Japanese tapas bar, as a coeliac it’s very rare to find food like this! Most of the menu is or can be gluten free ? Our server Holly was very friendly and helpful with choosing dishes.
I had tempura halloumi, fried chicken, beef donburi bowl and belly pork yakisoba. My husband tried the bao buns and ramen. Everything was delicious, and they have a good range of cocktails too ??
It’s only a small place so I would recommend pre-booking. There is no parking at the restaurant, but we parked in the coop 5 mins up the road which is free on an evening.”

“Cannot praise the staff, food & service highly enough! Last night we had a booking for 20 people at Bengal spice. The restaurant was so busy with other large group bookings as well as smaller tables however you would never have known - we had a fabulous experience. The food was delicious & the staff so attentive. They handled special dietary requirements no problem too. I had plenty of contact with Thahir in the run up to our booking & he ensured the night ran smoothly & split payment was easy. This is the 4th year we have had our get together at Bengal Spice & we will definitely be back there again next year! Thanks to all the team!”

Not only that!.. it came wrapped in paper (first) then foil.. and, once opened and tasted, I 'KNEW' I would have to write a review!! So.. 'THANK YOU, HOLMFIRTH SPICE'! You're the 'GO TO PLACE' for me!!! I'll be looking at your menu, every time I leave the 'Picturedrome'!
