A firm family favourite and always our first choice for a takeaway treat. I'm a fussy pizza eater, loving only thin crust, not too heavy with fresh tasty toppings and Da Vinci's ticks every box. Great value - big pizzas - brilliant for sharing, though we all insist on choosing our own and don't give up until we've finished! Great job guys, we love 'em!

Absolutely awful ! Just had a pizza with fries ! Terrible and dhsgusting. The chips were cold no taste. My pizza was burnt on the base. No taste. Husbands burger and chips were like cardboard. Did start to get better food but not , now!!!! Save your money disgraceful.

Poor! Pizza taste of soap and was cold! There was hardly any toppings and it was under cooked! Cold chips and cold onion rings! Delivery wasn't too bad at 1h but as already stated......cold and soapy taste!!!!!! Will not use again

We ordered three pizzas and sides at 6 this evening. Nothing arrived until 7.35. When it arrived the whole order was wrong. We had pre-paid with a credit card. BIG MISTAKE. We ordered one without cheese due to allergies and that hadn’t been taken into account as they all arrived with cheese. NOT GOOD. We never leave these reviews, but feel so incensed by the quality of Holmfirth take-aways generally that we have now given up. Our advice, don’t bother because they have it too easy. Try harder please. ( And they asked for the wrong delivery to be returned, goodness knows where that’s going) We have been ordering from this business for over 20 years. So much for loyalty.

Disgusting ! Arrived 35 mins after being advised it was out for delivery.The order was late anyway, 2 hours from order time. ( I live 5 mins from the shop) food was cold, chips weren't fit to eat and salad had no dressing. Paid for spicy ham on Polo pizza, it wasn't on the pizza. Called up to complain, advised I would get a refund which I was happy with, despite them ruining our evening. Checked account today no refund, taken payment as well. Won't use again and will contact then tomorrow about refund. Will post again with updated information. Don't use delivery service it's rubbish at the weekend.

Until recently this was the place to go but orders taking well over an hour food arriving stone cold items missing on several occasions has thoroughly disappointed me from now on I will drive further to the honley branch where I went for years with no issues

Had 2 Pizzas and both were disgusting, just been told this take away only has a 1 food hygiene certificate. Not surprised. Absolute waste of money.

Have used this takeaway for the last 20 yrs and it is always the same. One good, three awful. Every time I give it another go it’s a nightmare. Cold, burnt pizza, wrong toppings, not enough topping and 1 hour to deliver just 5 mins away. Avoid at all costs as maybe it’s time for this place to admit defeat. Won’t be ordering again. Sorry want to support local business but you are just shamefully awful.
Been a few times now for takeaways and can say these are pretty good all round. Doesn’t take a long time to order and receive deliveries too and delivery people are always decent pleasant types not the scruffy miserable Herbert’s other local companies employ.

Found the slaithwaite branch a month ago so decided to order from app, not sure how I ended up asking for delivery from the honley branch ?? despite the delivery drive (last time I picked up from shop) for the 2nd time ever in my lifeI didn’t dip my pizza in any extra sauce ?. Stunning food great service

This used to be the best local takeaway pizza but has gone seriously downhill. -Cannot supply the seafood version. -Arrived lukewarm, even though we are but 5 minutes away. -Minimal topping items. Shame!

Horrific service, it's obvious that the staff don't want to be there. They got the order wrong, admitted to not reading the order correctly, their response was a sarcastic and condescending "sorry about that".... Then when I attempted to ask what could be done about it the girl on the phone interrupted me by saying "bye" and hung up on me. Disgusting service, will never order again, and word of mouth spreads.

Da Vinci’s used to always be the place I’d order from for a decent pizza, but things have really gone downhill. Everything arrived cold and the pizza was awful. The base was dry and doughy; the cheese and passata were nearly non-existent, and there were barely any toppings either. It was just thick, dry, tasteless bread, and cold chips. The last time I ordered for a visiting friend, assuring them that these were awesome pizzas, and everything arrived burnt, so this poor quality is no longer a one off. Apparently Honley do a better job, but I’m not sure I’d risk any of them after this.
