Found this place by accident was supposed to go somewhere else. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff.We came for lunch and I would recommend the chunky chips and French Burger. Going back in a couple of weeks,taking the family.

We had a selection of the tapas dishes and each of them was delicious. Cozy atmosphere since the real fire was going on a cold evening (these are very rare in Holmfirth I'm sure).

We love Harveys and eat here for our anniversary every year. The tapas was absolutely superb on our first evening in Holmfirth so we went back the following teatime/evening. We ordered beef hanging kebab (and some extras to share). The meat was gristle which we were unable to cut through and chew....very poor, the lovely waiter saw us struggling and returned it to kitchen and another was provided for us...it was the same ... terrible ...chewy, no where near cooked with blood dropping onto the plate. Again we could not cut or chew the beef....We were charged full price ...so we paid £37+ for some fries and coleslaw.

Came here for Tapas and Wine and was not disappointed. We were seated at a table upstairs, and the airy balcony style of the restaurant felt really open and meant that even though it was busy, we didn't feel disturbed or hemmed in. The food was, as usual, delicious and the wine paired perfectly! Thanks Harvey's for a lovely meal!

We were in Holmfirth meeting up with daughter and son in law, looking for somewhere for lunch and came across this restaurant, we had two roast dinners , a burger and sea bream all very nice.

We booked a table of 14 for my 30th birthday last week, the preordering system was great to make sure everyone’s food was in stock. When the food was brought out the staff knew everyone’s names who had ordered which made it a lot easier than remembering who ordered what. The staff were absolutely fantastic throughout, very attentive and friendly - cannot fault. The food was very good in the most part, my only real gripe was that nobody was asked how they liked the steak cooked on the hanging kebab. For me this wasn’t a problem as I like my steak medium-rare however some of my party would have preferred it cooked more thoroughly. The cocktails were great and the venue itself was a lovely place to spend my birthday. Thank you to the whole team.
