We came here in November 2023 and we had an amazing time. However, tonight we were quite surprised and left early. About two hours in we left, as we surrounded by what we can only describe as young youths with their “bum bags”. The atmosphere wasn’t great, we were quite dissatisfied. The food was amazing as always and the service was great. We were just a-bit let down.

Amazing night. Thank you Chris and staff. Atmosphere warm and inviting. Food delicious ( I had a buffet for a ' jobs leaving do'). Help immediately on hand, although rarely needed as everything required already anticipated. Live music on another night out there was fab too. Will be back

We regularly make the 3-4 hour round-trip to Holmfirth Tavern for their live Country music night featuring both UK & US artists, and it's one of our favourite venues.Highly recommended!Parking: Whilst there is no parking outside the venue there's a large carpark just a few minutes walk away which if free after 4pm (set your SatNav for Crown Bottom Car Park)

Great little pub with a lovely atmosphere! Food is delicious, drinks range is excellent including local beers. There's often iive music too.

As a regular at the tavern, it never disappoints! Chris is not just an amazing owner but a fantastic singer and always makes you feel welcome!! We visited last night for NYE and it was a fantastic evening as always!!!! Thank you to Chris and the team for always making sure we have a good evening Ps don’t go to Ys bar it is dirty
