Big fans of Magic Rock beer, we've previously visited their Huddersfield brewery. First time visiting Holmfirth today and called in for a drink and bite to eat. Friendly service, chilled vibes and dog friendly! ? Could have had some hot food options on the menu but the sourdough bread was delicious ? Look forward to returning in the summer.

Jack and his team at Holmfirth provided us with first class service, cocktails, drinks and more when we booked the cocktail lounge to celebrate our wedding party. Nothing was too much trouble, service was with many smiles and our guests, who had mostly travelled from London, commented on the friendly service, high quality drinks and how friendly Holmfirth was. And they were right! Fabulous night, many thanks and we will be back!
We booked a table in the cocktail lounge upstairs for 4 guests. We ordered our drinks and waited 45 minutes for them. When they arrived they didn't have the ingredients for one of them so we ordered an alternative. Myself and my wife ordered the same drink and when we tasted it we both said it tasted odd and not like it was supposed too. We took the two drinks back and we were offered to choose alternatives. About 10 mins later the barman said that the two drinks we had ordered were unavailable as they didn't have the correct ingredients, he apologised and said there was an issue with the new menu's. We asked for non cocktail drinks which we recieved and we were given £50 in vouchers for all the hassle that took place. I don't blame the people working behind the bar but it wasn't busy and they all seemed a bit stressed.

One of our most favourite bars! The beer here is fantastic.. such a huge range and very fairly priced. They serve sharing boards and other types of nibbles that are delicious. The place is quirky and immaculately clean. Our favourite in Holmfirth!

We stopped in here today during a family visit to Holmfirth.My wife & I enjoy craft beer and upon seeing this establishment we thought we would give it a go.Amazing atmosphere, great beer and a nice chilled vibe which reminded me of trendy inner city cafes in larger cities.The staff were extremely friendly and were nice enough to provide extra bread for my children when we ordered a sharing platter (which was excellent and really good value for money).I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Didn't eat but menu looked interesting, I enjoy a sharing platter and they catered for vegetarian and vegan. An old bank tastefully done out. Real ales and craft beers a speciality. Unfortunately they don't know how to serve gin which was very disappointing especially as it isn't a cheap drink. No gin glasses were provided, there were a choice of gins but not offered a choice of tonics. Got ice but no lemons or fruit ( I did see lemons on the counter) For this reason I had to leave a lower score. Get some gin glasses please, it makes the experience nicer! And don't forget to ask which tonic and add some fruit. Thank you
