Fantastic rum truffles, fruit flans and bread.I travel from Barnsley for this 5* quality.

Bacon and sausage sandwich. Asked for well done bacon and it was fatty, undercooked and out of a food warmer so was partly cold. Sausages were cheap and poor quality. Real let down

Bought a cheese salad sandwich. Contents, one slice of cucumber, hacked off piece of red onion, yellow remnants of iceberg lettuce, two teaspoons of grated cheese, angry splodge of mayo to one side. Disappointing to say the least, I gave two stars for the decent bread cake that contained the mess. Do avoid that middle aged madam that served us.

Lovely little place .. Great selection to choose from ... staff lovely ... helpful... food was fresh and very tasty .... Went last year ... wasn't that great but now under the new management has much improved... Will definitely be back... especially for the lemon cheesecake ?

Pick up a weekly order from Penistone market (various bread, tea cakes, sausage rolls and whatever else I’m tempted by) and have never been disappointed. Always fresh, tasty and offering a varied selection of high quality items

Whilst out doing my deliveries I was looking for something quick to eat before heading off & spotted this bakery. Really big iced finger was spot on!

Bought a lemon cake to eat at home, quite expensive at £2.80 but looked amazing. However it was very disappointing, dry and tasteless. Such a shame that such care had been put into the presentation, but the cake seemed like it was at least a couple of days old.

Been picking up fresh sourdough and Focaccia from these at Penistone market for the past few months. Absolutely, smashing, I've even got my parents that live in Brighouse hooked!!

Well I think I’ve been ripped off today. I purchased a small piece of carrot cake from the bakery. I cannot believe they charge £2.80 for a small piece of cake. It certainly wasn’t worth that amount of money.

Been in a couple of times recently, the first experience I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second time was just as bad.Was served a dry, lukewarm sausage sandwich, I had asked for sausage and mushroom but was told in no uncertain terms we don’t have mushrooms by a women that had about as much warmth towards customers as the sausage she gave me. Wont be going back.
