Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere. A interesting place to visit too with the vintage cars/

Cakes were beautiful, menu is limited, side salad was pointless and coffee wasn't great.

The place itself is a nice place, service is OK, friendly. Located in beautiful piece of Holmfirth. However, we was a table of seven we got served in 3 different sittings. One lot was almost finished as another was being served. The price does not reflect the quality and quantity of food. We had tea for 2, we did not get choice of bread hardly any filling. Just dry white bread, not the choice that was stated on the menu. Disappointed after paying £85 for seven people.

3 brothers and our wives took our elderly Uncle here for Afternoon Tea.Food and service was spot on, leave time to wander round the classic cars. You will NOT be disappointed.

When over this way we always go here, quirky place, lovely food, great cakes, lovely coffee and milkshakes, service was great to start with but then got forgotten about, so had to go over to the counter, but it was supposed to be table service. Enjoyed our visit though.Wheelchair accessibility: There were wheelchair users there .

I booked for mother's day hoping to treat my mum to afternoon tea, when we arrived we were told that I had to pre book the afternoon tea as on the website, I never saw this and have looked since but still can't see where it is, so maybe it should be more clear. We looked at the menu and three of the veggie options were unavailable so my mum only had one choice. There were eight of us eating and the service was very slow and half our party got served while the others had to wait for a long time, it should have all arrived together. It was quite busy but far from full. The food was ok when it did arrive but I definitely won't rush back.

We have been going for years but on booking saw some negative reviews which made us think it had gone downhill, thankfully ignored the bad reviews and as always was not disappointed. Yes the uniforms have changed but the excellent service is still to a high standard, the food was as good as it always has been. Had afternoon tea and as usual brought home some of the mouth watering cakes as we were full. New menu looks very nice and looked amazing as it was served.

Thank you for hosting our car club drive out today. Served 30 people quickly and with great breakfasts. Thanks!

Family outing for coffee and cakes. Didn't realise that we could have had kidsvportions so quite a bit of wasted milkshake as they were huge and also should have got the kids a piece of cake between 2 as they were huge. Excellent cakes and mostly all we're gluten free which was brilliant for my granddaughter who is coeliac.Dietary restrictions: Excellent selection of gluten free cakes and some vegan options.

Great place to stop off. Slightly higher prices than other places, but it is so much more than just a cafe. It's like having a free museum thrown in too!

Some fantastic cars, Unfortunately the restaurant was overly busy, so much so we couldn't get in for food so gad a takeaway drink.
