Excellent food. Full of flavour. We shared some small plates, and each dish was delicious. Very reasonably priced for such quality cooking. I highly recommend it.

Myself and a friend ordered 4 small plates. The quality of the food is amazing, very tasty and incredibly good value for money. I cannot recommend Bambukat highly enough. It was very quiet when we visited but this restaurant deserves to be packed. Spread the word.

Delicious food arrived quickly and delightful service. We were well looked after, with interesting (very yummy)food. We decided we needed to return to try more of the offerings from the varied menu. Meat eaters and vegans all catered for. The only pity was the lack of customers. Don’t really understand why this place isn’t packed. What fabulous food!

A great place to eat if you want an authentic Indian Street food experience. The food was fairly priced as well. Would recommend.

The best "Indian style" food I've had since I worked in India. The thali was gorgeous, but too much for me. My wife is a big mint sauce fan and they kept her satisfied.

Chicken Thali was amazing. Great service too

Probably the best Indian in the area. Unlike most places they run a small menu meaning the dishes are well made. The nan is the best i've had and a perfect accompaniment to the meal.Cleanliness needs some attention, the floor was dirty and needs a good scrub.

Honesty cannot fault this place, the value for money is exceptional. Fantastic menu, been on several occasions and tried something new every time and never been let down. Could not recommend more, please do your bit and keep this place open its brilliant.

Wow. Amazing food and really good value. We were a party of 4 and including drinks, the bill came to just over £100. We ordered 9 small plates and we couldn't eat it all. We ate quite early but there was only 1 other couple in. This place deserves to be packed. I hope people go and support it as good restaurants are few and far between in Huddersfield.

Can't believe this place isn't crammed out! They serve the most excellent Indian food, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Honestly this is like a standard Indian reborn. Light rice, beautifully balanced curries and thrilling starters. Even the poppadoms are handmade and freshly cooked. Get in here to see how great Indian food can be!

food overpriced and they made paneer too sweet and the tandoori roti was too uncooked and hard, I would not recommend bambukat to anyone

I have been to this restaurant several times and have really enjoyed every visit, I'm vegan and the the staff help show me which items are vegan or could be made vegan. I love the Indian thali which is an assortment of dishes I'm a big eater and I was very satisfied with amount of food. The restaurant is simple but stylish I would suggest it's a must try. My visit have been at odd times so it was quite but staff are friendly and happy to chat. If you love curry and have not been you have got to go.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed our visit. The poppadoms were fresh, the curries we had ( chicken for three of us, paneer for one) were tasty and the garlic nans and rice were very good. Authentic cuisine, good service and fair prices. Highly recommended!
