Absolutely fantastic food! We had Kyoto cluck cluck and tsunami fish fry bao buns, and both dirty fries options, and really enjoyed both. The halibut was banging as was the dirty fries with the brisket.I’ll be riding up from notts again for this bad boy ?

What a revelation, lovely people, great beers, no ridiculous music and everyone enjoying a bit of banter, their dogs and some good beers and a scotch egg! Go - you won't be disappointed.

We came here on a team walk. It was fine, but lacked anything special to make me rush back. The beer was well kept. The staff were friendly. Can’t comment on the food as the kitchen is closed Mon/Tues, so we got food in the cafe across the road

Had some lovely food and reasonably priced upstairs in roverhwad tap..provided by bao bros..many of us on a list trip put tried this tasty food and I would visi and eat here again

Great beer, lovely country setting looking over the river. Great hard working and friendly staff.Been in both summer and winter and it’s really festive at Christmas with a tree upstairs and one down stairs. Food is really good ?

Quite a surprise to see bau buns available in a traditional pub, great concept and it really works. Great beer on tap here too! Very organised and efficient

Very much as a Pub should look, lots of wood & alcoves. Restaurant up stairs so not too noisy. Is, or was a Brew Pub & is in the Good Beer Guide for every good reason.

Found this excellent pub in a beautiful setting, right by the river in beautiful Marsden. Proper traditional pub, friendly staff and very clean. The only disappointment was, we visited on a Monday dinner time and they wasn’t selling any food - and after travelling all the way from Worcestershire we were really hoping for a bite to eat. Would definitely visit again though. Really enjoyed our visit.
