I ordered a medium hot chocolate (ultimate blend) to take out - unfortunately I only opened the cup after getting out of the shop. It was only half full. There's no excuse at all for this. The staff weren't concentrating on anything as they were too busy with their own conversations.My first visit to the Huddersfield Costa, I won't be returning. This is my regular choice of drink and I've never received a half cup before!

Been coming here for some time but lately have noticed the service gone bad. On one occasion have ordered some coffee and a toast, been served with a long hair on the plate, when made them aware of that there was no apology made or offer to make a fresh toast, just asked me if I’d like a plate?!Alice needs to go for some customer service skills training, constantly looks down on you and makes you feel unwelcome. No please, no thank you, no sorry. Won’t be coming here again

Gonw downhill since change of management.Very ill mannered new staff.Pathetic service.Never seen anyone kicked out for eating food purchased from elsewhere apart from asian men with beards.Only conclusion - Racism/Islamaphobia.

I usually enjoy going into Costa coffee shops. However this afternoon, although the cake and coffee were up to the usual excellent standard, the ambience was not. There was a peculiar smell when I came in and its very hot although its not very hot and it's wet outside.
