Went here for Sunday lunch, and the food was absolutely amazing and great value for money £29.95 for 3 courses, £25.95 for 2 courses. The beef was beautiful. You can either have it pink or well done... It's definitely well worth a visit.

booked far in advance to be shoved in the corner effectively in between another table. Courses came out straight after each other. Gave us 3 courses in 45 minutes, soup was bland, beef was over cooked. When we asked staff if they could slow down literally ignored.

Really disappointed. I’ll start off on a positive though, the makings of a fantastic restaurant are there as the food is exceptional. However, when paying top dollar it’s fair to expect top service. Firstly, we were told our booking was wrong and had to embarrassingly dig out the email of which we were 35 minutes late being seated and crammed in to an area far too small (this was noticeable throughout the entire seating arrangement). We were then rushed through courses at a ridiculous pace. We were asked to leave whilst finishing our wine which when paying north of £200 for a Mother’s Day meal, leaves a sour taste in the mouth. It’s clear the owner has knowledge of how to serve great food but also blindingly obvious that it’s a bums on seat model, based on sheer volume and how cramped the restaurant was. I hope they take this message as constructive criticism as until that changes, I certainly won’t return.

Great food and an amazing, cosy atmosphere. The menu is quite limited but this is likely the key to great flavour and therefore a great experience! Id rather have less choice but perfection in taste and flavour.We had a prior booking and were seated immediately. The food came out hot and within a few minutes of ordering. There was nothing that I wouldn't order again which is probably the highest praise I could give a restaurant.

Table for birthday booked for 8. Only 7 wine glasses , had to ask after the wine arrived. Seven meals served one had to remind staff she was left waiting. Food only just warm. Good quality but not hot enough .

Last night’s dinner was superb. The Bass main course was outstanding.Not been before but will definitely go again.Super menu with good Veg/Vegan options too.Music was a little loud for us but, other than that, can’t fault it, a lovely choice for dinner.
We where a family of 5+ a high chair, wanting a special meal on New Year's Eve- food was okay. The major problem was the space we where given- absolutely crammed in like sardines- couldn't get up unless 3 people had 2 move, & chairs where so near 2 table that if u are any larger than "normal" u wouldn't fit in the space given 2 eat in. My elbows where had to be really tucked in- not comfortable @ all.

Have eaten at this fab restaurant lots over the years had a fabulous meal for my birthday with hubby & son , was a lovely christmas atmosphere food beautiful as always and staff lovely, polite friendly and attentive, still up there as one of my favourite restraunt’s, would highly recommend

We have eaten at Eric’s many times and it never disappoints. We booked a table to celebrate the New Year and were really impressed yet again. The menu was excellent, with a really good variety of starters, main courses and puddings. I opted for the tempura prawns and sea bass followed by the cheese and biscuits. All tasty and the service was very attentive. I had a vibrant blue cocktail, too, which took a while to arrive, but was worth the wait. My husband opted for meat - I don’t eat it, so didn’t pay attention to what he ordered, but he enjoyed it a lot! Overall, a lovely afternoon spent indulging. We have booked again for Valentine’s Day.
