My brother picked up my order a couple of days ago and I was disappointed with the quality of the food.As a Caribbean myself, I had high expectations and know how the food should look and taste. I ordered curried chicken with rice and peas with mac and cheese. The curry tasted nice but it was quite dry and the chicken was not great. The rice was okay but the mac and cheese was also dry and not cheesy or tasty. Oh and I had jerk chicken with it as well which was not great either. Wasn't juicy and tender how it should be and not enough flavour. Skin was just falling off with every bite.Sorry to say but I won't be eating here again, I would rather have my mums home cooked caribbean food.

If you want food poisoning...go here...never again...chicken not cooked and advertised as being cooked all day...absolute rubbish. Every piece was pink ?

Was stood in queue at Huddersfield carnival for about half an hour, got to front to find out they were only selling jerk chicken & chips, no rice and peas, no steam cabbage, no salad, no fried dumpling. Literally jerk chicken, Mccain fries and Tropical Sun jerk bbq sauce and ketchup. Lazy !! Who turns up to cater for an event with nothing but chicken. I'd be ashamed of myself personally. Lol.And charging £10 for 1 drumstick and a tiny thigh with hardly no meat on. Dead!! Exploiting people at your own expense.

Wow wow most expensive meal , for some rice and chicken , tripled in price.However wouldn’t be going there again If the food was 10/10 then fair play ,But it isn’t .
Everything I ordered was perfect, and on time! I didn't notice until now, that they'd put me an extra Jerk Chicken and Gravy too, with a really sweet note, saying its on the house, and free of charge! :) I'm Muslim and have been fasting all day for Ramadan..So this was really really appreciated! Hope you read this and see that I'm thankful!

Jerk House is the most expensive in Huddersfield and in fact keeps going up in price I’ve noticed. Usually, I don’t mind the high price as the food was so authentic and flavoursome when first opening. But it is clear as day the food quality and ingredients have dropped and changed 1000%. Even my friend said “this ain’t tasting the same yano” and he said exactly what I was thinking. Not sure if it’s still the same ownership, original recipe or a new chef. But I’m telling you right now that it’s gone from a premium to bang average and the curried goat was just so so so dry. I have to be honest when I’m paying these prices sorry.
