The fish was paper thin and not cooked properly. The cleanliness was disgusting chips on the floor trodden in ,dirty and smelled horrid. The staff had the we don’t care attitude and their work wear looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks . No hair nets and touching raw foods and cooked foods without washing hands . I had the worst stomach ache for 3 days after ,bed bound and could not work I lost 3 days pay . The owner a Liverpudlian was a vile character very abusive towards me and my children I will never come here again .

Coming here a few years.Always tops ,but today had chips and curry,2 pineapple fritters.The dog had a sausage.Not a crumb left, feel like turning back and repeating.Getting better as you goYou've mastered the food today.

Great fish and chips. A trip down memory lane for me and the best haddock and chips I have had since leaving Yorkshire 40 years ago. (I have been back since!). They don't do eat in anymore and as it was a bit wet we ended up eating it in a bus shelter like teenagers. Still a great experience though. And everyone was so friendly.
My favourite chippy. Travel all the way from Delph for this chippy as fish is perfect, batter is light, all good so tasty and the staff are really friendly and welcoming!

As always great food, we usually gets chips, peas or curry, highly rate, nice portion size for the family. Great to eat locally and this chipper is just down the main Manchester road, just in the village of Marsden.
