Over charged for a bottle of wine we didn't order. We orered wine but was brought the most expensive one. We didnt realise, and it was awful, guri di guri or something like that name. When we spoke to the manager all he said was, we should of sent the wine back.Disgusting wine and bad management, I wouldn't mind but we weren't even asking for a refund on the wine or anything, just complaining that a more expensive wine had been put on our bill.Will not recommend any more and definitely will never eat here again, check what you order and send wine back that's vile

Visited on a Sunday evening Mid December an once again, we enjoyed a tremendous meal with great service. The chef cooks the most incredible, unique dishes with myself and my daughter enjoying Chicken Sharama and my wife the Vegetarian Moussaka, following some gorgeous chefs bread to start. New waiting staff served us this evening and they were excellent. Our favourite restaurant in Yorkshire ?

Today was the first time I've been to Med-one and the food was absolutely fantastic. The Lamb Shawarma was delicious. Service was great and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Before I left I was already planning another visit. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We dropped in after an event in Huddersfield, just wandering past and hungry. What stunning food! Definitely coming back again. Service was slightly overenthusiastic (we'd barely got coats off before being asked if we were ready to order) but I'd much rather that than slow. A really tasty and beautifully presented dinner.

Visited with friends last week and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent service and good choice of dishes. Prices were about average but the portions were of a decent size and were filling. We were seated upstairs and it was nice and warm and comfortable. Would definitely dine here again.

What has happened to Med One??? We tried to book for a party of 10, we were told over the phone we had to pay a deposit which was absolutely fine BUT we couldn't pay over the phone...we would have to pay cash which meant someone would have to drive into Huddersfield after 5pm when they open in order to pay. Hours have reduced, no daytime hours any more so sadly no lunches at med one. The food was amazing as usual and the waiting staff were lovely. When we went to pay we were met by a very surly man at the bar who told us we couldn't pay individually, someone would have to pay for a party of 10. When we complained he said he would allow us just this once but he wouldn't do it again. (We replied, don't worry, there won't be a next time) He was so rude, no thank you for our business, did you enjoy your meal? Very surly. Med One food is fantastic but they seem to be going out of their way to make things difficult for customers . Such a shame to lose a fantastic restaurant. I know times are hard but come on Med One, let customers know you appreciate them!

Their food is brilliant, the service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is amazing. You can tell this is a family business- I always recommend med one as my number one spot for a meal out!
