Early morning. So very quiet. Owned by former weavers shed couple in golcar, so as expected, high quality decor and service.

Visited today with my family on our way to Manchester airport. I found this gem of a cafe in Huddersfield when googling gluten-free options as we had one person in the party that can only eat GF. There were plenty of options for her! And everything we ordered was delicious: three different sandwiches, all freshly made and fresh tasting and a homemade quiche, and my mocha latte was yummy too. It's a lovely café over two floors with beautiful decor, and very helpful and friendly staff. I wish we had had the time for cake too!Parking: Free street parking for 1 hour

Delicious food, creative menu, attentive staff and a wide range of teas, cakes and luscious food choices. Peach, pistachio and burrata or the Zapekanka are must tries ?

Best brunch in Huddersfield. We've been multiple times since our first visit recently. The food is superb with generous portion sizes. The teas on offer are comforting and available to take home. The service is very friendly and welcoming, and it's dog friendly which is a bonus!

This might be one of the best spots in Huddersfield. We first went as a group of 4 for my 30th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time - the food is delicious and generous in size, the menu is simple yet detailed (2 pages only, 1 for food and 1 for drinks, but the sheer number of tea options is just incredible - and tasty to boot), and it has a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. There's fresh cakes on display as you walk in, and the slice you get is astounding. We accidentally turned up 5 minutes before close on the second visit (our fault for not checking their opening times!) and the staff went out of their way to see if there was anything they could get us, whether it was a drink or a cake to go. Honestly can't fault them in the slightest, the staff are superb and happy to answer any questions. The best news is that it's dog friendly, which is fantastic for us when we want to get out with our pooch for a bit. She also loves the food, particularly the truffle chips.Vegetarian options: There are some fantastic vegetarian options on the menu, in particular the Croque-of-the-Woods went down a storm.

London prices in Almondbury! Get over yourselves. Ripping off pensioners: coffee and a scone £10 and dismissive when asked if price was right. 20 minutes before scone arrived! Terrible Muriel, terrible. No wonder hospitality is going to pot with fur coat no knicker establishments like this.

The most gorgeous visit to T&Cake, Almondbury today! Absolutely devine food and great service. All 3 dishes from the specials board (purple sprouted brocoli and poached eggs on toast, gorgonzola, pear and candied walnut tart and the chocolate pecan French toast), were to die for!! The BLT and Nutella on toast from the standard menu were also delicious! Such generous portion sizes, really great value for money! The thought that goes into putting these dishes together is really special. Can't recommend enough!

Lovely homely place with very pleasant staff. Interesting menu and specials board. We all enjoyed our food, as we have on our previous visits.

Had a wonderful early mother's day brunch with the family today. Each of us had something different and we were all super happy with our choices. They were all rather large portions and I who chose a sandwich had a generous filling of BLT. Wherever I go I always ask for my bacon well done and it often comes back disappointing but this was delicious, really crispy with not one bit of fat in sight. The service was lovely, really welcoming and attentative. Absolutely love this place. Would highly recommend.

My parents were again disappointed by the lack of filling in the sandwiches. I don't know why they keep going back. When wonderfully generous, good value sausage sandwiches are available at such as Bolster Farm cafe then why be ripped off here!
