Grabbed a sandwich from here today for my husband, have purchased cakes from here before and have always been happy. 3 stars is due to the fact that there wasn’t much filling inside the sandwich, big difference in filling between this bakery and another I use locally.

Looked like fab stuff in the window. But was immediately put off by the handwritten notices I could see....3 people only, pay cash. So I didn't bother going in.

The best bakery ever. I finally got to this place as I did not realise they close at 3 somedays.The Victoria sponge was amazing and they have so much choice.It is very busy and they make nearly every type of sandwich filling listed on a massive blackboard.The staff are so nice and patient.Its so nice to find a proper bakery that makes the vintage bakes and a large variety of sandwiches.As I left I told the owner I would be giving a 5 star review and here it is!Well done on great baking and great service.

Rude lady in the shop serving and our sandwich’s had nothing hardly in them looked like it was thrown together use to like this place but never again they need new staff

Me and my husband have just eaten the most amazing apple pie from the Bakehouse! The crust melts in the mouth. Beautiful.
Amazing sandwiches and great service we just had a bacon and halloumi baguette and a hummous with Mediterranean vegetables excellent place hidden gem.
If you haven't been here, you need to pop in and grab a bite to eat. Best sandwiches in town and wow, the chocolate carrot cake is to die for!!!
