I recently had an amazing dining experience at Good Stuff Takeaway. The Caribbean curry mutton was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The lady who prepared my meal was incredibly friendly and her passion for cooking was evident. The service was outstanding, making the whole experience memorable. I highly recommend Good Stuff Takeaway for an exceptional meal and delightful company. 10/10!

Coming from Australia, there are very few options for Carribbean food, so thankfully I got to try the Good Stuff on my travels. The jerk chicken and curry mutton were absolutely delicious, and the chef/owner is the friendliest person in Huddersfield. It's worth a visit for her warmth and hospitality alone.

Ordered two meals with my girlfriend - we are both vegan. Owner was very lovely, talked us through her selection of Ital/vegan dishes - plenty to choose from. Whipped them up in about 20 minutes from scratch, generous portion sizes, both were delicious! Sandra is a real mother cook - authentic Caribbean flavours passed down through generations. Will definitely be going back, give this place a try!Vegetarian options: The Plantain Boat and Ackee Supreme are both divine !

By far the best curried mutton I have ever had, probably the best curried anything I've ever had! Absolutely superb. Also had the saltfish fritters which were gorgeous. I highly recommend The Good Stuff and would go as far to say that this is the best food I've had out of a Huddersfield

I think it's a shame when people come on Tripadvisor just to slate small businesses. My partner and I popped in to this little takeaway place (now in central Hudds near the train station, not in Lockwood), as we work nearby and were hungry in the early evening, and Huddersfield is really lacking in places where you can have a snack after lunchtime! This place didn't disappoint! We found the food had great flavour, and really generous portions! We tried a few different dishes and really liked them all, and the owner was friendly and polite, and even gave us a taste of her non-alcoholic punch! We haven't seen her open since we went in, and are worried that she has had to close. It seems she's been having some trouble with one neighbouring business in particular, whose owner has employed bullying tactics to close down her kitchen because the smell of Caribbean cooking is too strong. But when you have your business on the same road as five or six different eating establishments, that seems a bit rich? Do they cause problems for Harvey's, the Indian restaurant across the road, the noodle place, The Crown, Cosy Kitchen, or QFC? Or is it just the Good Stuff? Get a grip, and let people make a living doing what they love and are good at. Same to the 1* reviewers here. Great food, and we'll be back if and when the Good Stuff reopens! 5* from us.
