Used to love wimpy back in the 80s and forgot how good it was, by far the best burgers. Its a shame there's not more across the north of the UK.

I was looking for a place to have dinner today and saw Wimpy! I went in and was greeted by a member of staff and shown to a table. She gave me a menu and left me to look at the choices. There was plenty on offer including deals etc. She came back and took my order and asked about sauces, items of salad, and other dietary needs. The cook was nearby cooking and I could tell it was been cooked fresh. The place was clean, music was playing but not too loud. Others were coming in for take out orders and sitting in. The staff were polite, attentive, and smart. It was just before lunchtime so there wasn't any rush on. The food came after about 10 mins. It was hot, cooked, and a good-sized portion. I must admit it has been years since I've been into a Wimpy, and I was very glad I had returned. I couldn't fault it in any way, and it was good value for money. Top marks from me.

Wish you were back in Nottingham, I've been craving a Wimpy for ages, bacon egg in a bun or the international grill. So yummy. My review is for all the years I went to the Broadmarsh centre restaurant you used to run, it was always good food, I'm 46 now but used to go with my mum when I was a kid every time we went to town. You ran the place properly not like others in Nottingham like the long Eaton one where the lady turned it into a greasy spoon cafe not even serving the proper round bacon for the bacon egg in a bun and just said well this bacon better. Tut tut, no wonder most shut down as they were not being run properly, and lost customers. Not Akram's he did it spot on and I'm sure he still does,

A few years (20+) since I last came to a Wimpy and I wish it was closer. Forgot how good the food was. Far better than the American diner's. You need to try the pork bendy! I did.

Went here yesterday and i have to say this was the best burger i have had from a restaurant. I had a Bacon double cheese burger and it was exceptional. Juicy and well seasoned, i can't recommend this highly enough.The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, if you happen to be in Huddersfield and feel like a burger, go to Wimpy.

Really clean, staff very polite and attentive, in the right way. Food was better than MacDonalds and the atmosphere was better then the usual fast food chain would certainly return and recommend it.
