Really good coffee shop! The people on the till do need to be taught a bit better about allergies as the poor lad had no clue and was like yeah that’s deffo got milk in when it didn’t. But other than that and having to ask him to clarify with the chef everything else was perfect and the food was yum! So thanks! I’ll definitely be bringing my dog next time! Xxx

Would give zero stars if I could. Walked into the venue and had no idea if we should sit down or wait to be seated. No signs telling you and 4 useless female waitresses just stood at the counter talking and looking at us. No welcome given, not even a quick smile or hello. Hovered around a bit, still nothing. So asked if we could sit down or wait to be seated, they told us to go find a table, which is fine, just as long as we knew. Table was dirty, but a nice male staff member came and cleaned it for us. No menus on the table, so back up I go to go locate a menu. Chose what we wanted to eat, back up again to order with the unfriendly female staff members. No customer service skills whatsoever. All the young girls still doing absolutely nothing at the counter, paying no interest to anything but themselves. Menu is basic, simple sandwiches. Service slow. Such a shame because the venue is really nice. Not sure why the owners would have such a nice venue, but then have such useless/uninterested/rude female staff working for them. Probably because they are cheap. Won’t be returning.

I’m a regular but each time I go service is too slow. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve forcefully had to sit at a dirty table and clean it myself with hand wipes I carry in my bag. Average wait for a coffee and a pot of tea 10 mins+. Drinks always come after food arrives. Lots of staff but they need to be a lot faster and sharper with service and cleanliness of the dining areas. It’s put me off coming again along with family and friends I brought. Such a shame as a lovely venue. Food options could do with a refresh as hasn’t changed since and gets quite repetitive.

Tremendous as Craig Cash would say. Despite only being open for 6 days they made me the best mocha I've had for several years. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My younger daughter loved a quick game of pool while I borrowed a chess set to play against my older daughter. I think it says it all that they were running out of some cakes (it has to be said delicious) by mid afternoon. However don't tell to many people because I want there to be a seat for me when I go back.Update, back again, still as good.Another update, another really nice cup of coffee, well mocha to be precise.

First visit. Nice place & atmosphere, slight attitude from one staff member but pleasant otherwise. Service could be better organised, brought 1/2 drinks & dessert to table then main after, the cup of tea pigs was like stew due to the small amount of water in the cup (not teapot). Not major issues but room for improvement, will try again & hope it is better.

Popped in for a coffee with my wife and our dog (having been told the place is dog friendly). Nice place, coffee was great and the piece of carrot cake we shared was excellent. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Just what the area needed. We'll be back.
