A lovely café and coffee house, perfect for a meal with friends. Great atmosphere, and you can take your coffee to go as well. ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience, and the owners have done an excellent job of creating comfortable spaces with seating etc. We liked this very much and will need little excuse to visit again. Jan looked after us and helped to support the warm reception. All good.

Dropped in for tea and cake after a walk but couldn’t resist the cheese scones so had one of those too. Delicious ? all served by 2 very lovely and welcoming young people. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

This is a wonderful tea room, one of the very best. Why? Wonderful location in a lovely village; nice building with great ambiance and decor; delightful owner and employee; truly (TRULY) home-made food; generous servings; wonderful cakes and scones; probably other things that I'm forgetting.Born and raised in the UK, I've spent most of my adult life in America. But as I come back every three or four months to visit my elderly father, Time at the Forge gets a visit from me (at least one visit) every single time.Kate and Neva -- thank you for another lovely afternoon on Thursday!

What a lovely little place. Very cute and cosy. As soon as we opened the door we could smell freshly baked cakes, it smelt amazing. We had afternoon tea and it was brilliant. Great portions, all the food was fresh and very yummy. Couldn't finish it, had to bring some of it home. ☺️Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going again.Parking: Parking out the front available.

An amazing tea shop with wonderful food. We’d intended to just have some tea but ended up having sandwiches, scones and even cream teas! Beautiful location and one of the best tea shops we’ve ever been to.

It's a bit expensive but very nice

Dropped into this cafe for tea whilst on a walk round the village of Aldbourne. The cafe is upstairs above the old forge building so in good weather it's probably best to sit outside. There is indoor seating but most seating is up some fairly steep stairs. Service was excellent and the tea, coffee and cake we ordered arrived promptly. Recommended for a visit if you are in the area.

Very nice location and food presented in a lovely way. I was a little disappointed that the ham sandwich was just two slices of cut bread rather than a big hand cut crusty bread. At almost 6 quid for just the sandwich it felt expensive for what we got.

What a delightful suprise! The Sat Nav took us to this village because the M4 was too windy. My wife found it on Google and we tracked it down. So easy to find.So what's there. Cakes, sandwiches etc all in the house attached to the forge which has been in the family for generations.Absolutely delicious food, perfect service and very clean. A must. Worth going out of your way to get there and the village will not disappoint you either. Go!
