“Great pub for a pint or meal by the side of the canal. There is a fence for safety.
Food is good and priced just right with large portions (so 3 of us shared 2 meals!).
Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Whether with family, friends or taking my granddaughter there, the staff are always friendly and attentive. The cakes are always fresh and the drinks are excellent. Occasionally I’ll have hot food and it’s always been well prepared. The cafe is always spotlessly clean and it remains amongst the nicest coffee shop / cafes at a heritage site, castle or Stately Home I’ve visited. Even when busy food is served quickly and with kindness too. I’m fussy about my food and drink and have no hesitation in giving them 5/5”
