We've used this restaurant for more than 5 years and we expect that to continue. The Chicken Shasliks were great - at their usual very high stand - and we were please to see friendly and helpful staff (who want to serve customers) back again. There was a period last year when the service was poor - we thought that we might not return. So full marks this week. And our thanks for the food and the welcome.

I’m not sure the comment section is big enough to express how much my family enjoyed our meal tonight!!To start we were greeted with a warm welcome and such friendly staff. They made me feel at ease straight away and when eating out with young children it makes such a difference to feel comfortable.Moving on to the food the waiter was lovely, the food came out quickly and every single one of the 6 (different) main dishes were so tasty, thoroughly enjoyed and really well presented. The sides were delicious too!We honestly couldn’t be happier with our meal at The Bengal Bear tonight!!

Superb, without question. We have only sampled takeaway so far but it has always been on the mark and well worth it. We are really looking forward to our first proper eat-in visit.

Terrible service, food is mediocre and often late (worst wait was 2hrs!). Shame but has put most locals off. Moonlight in Corsham is much better

My partner ( Katie) were at this restaurant last night. Katie booked a table via Facebook for 7pm. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed in a lovely friendly manner. We were shown to a table for two in Bay window, with a view down Box high street. It is a BYO here and the waiting staff were helpful in assisting in opening the wine we bought. The decor in the restaurant is modern, clean but with a cosy feel. The menu had a good choice of meals to choose from. I must say the Chicken Madras I had was possibly the best I've ever had. The chicken portions were very generous and cut to a good size, it was moisture and tender. The sauce had just the right amount of spice to make hot with burning your taste buds. Overall we were super impressed with our dining experience here, thank you to the staff who helped make the celebrations that bit more special ?

Extremely friendly service, very clean and the portions were really generous. We arrived at 5pm for a meal, we had starters and a main each, food was piping hot and freshly made. Would highly recommend visiting, the food is lovely and it’s worth a visit if you are in the area.
We’ve been driving past this restaurant for years so decided to take a drive out from Bath and give it a try. We are so glad we did; the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fabulous and friendly. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend visiting. The portion sizing is generous. Friendly and helpful staff and the curry out of this world. The best I’ve had to date!! The flavours are incredible. Our first time there and will not be our last, 10/10!

He reviewed the menu items and asked my preferences with meat and spices and guided me to making the best choices!!! Best curry house this side of the Mississippi. You haven’t experienced curry until you’ve been here. The smells. The tastes. The experience. The service is absolutely brilliant and always very welcoming. Couldn’t recommend The Bengal Bear in Box enough.
